Seemed Mitch was pretty anxious to put Pourcel on 450 scooter last year, but couldnt, and now when time has changed for the better, is he still interested?

Marc, a lot of people believe they are only running the 450 to honor Tickle's contract...Wouldn't surprise me if that's the truth.

He has some serious competition in the big boy class, and I think it will be tough for him to crack the top 10 in the overall points if everyone stays healthy. Based on Mitch's attitude about winning, I don't think he wants to dick around too long supporting a rider/bike combo that could have at best a remote chance of reaching a podium this year.

As for the 377, I doubt he'll be do any races in the AMA. The two series still don't work, he has his own team, (or division of Pro circuit) he's confirmed to be wearing shot (Yes shot!) gear, so I guess his gear deal will prevent him from riding too.. I can't see it happening.

For once and for ever:

1. CP377 came to Europe and signed with CLS Kawasaki. CLS's budget wasn't big because they signed a big contract with Townley and they where paying Searle and Anstie. Pourcel took what he could get and more important took for him the BEST BIKE OUT THERE!

Now for 2012, Christophe Pourcel bought him into the CLS Team to give his brother (Sebastian Pourcel) a space in good team after his serious back injury! That costs him allot of money! (The team name will be: CP377 Monster Energy-Kawasaki-Pro Circuit.) Would he do such things if he only cared about money??

If by "chose Tickle" you mean he had plan to start a 450 team and the best guy available was Tickle...You are wrong.

Surprising he's not wearing Thor, but Pourcel is a name and can do what he wants pretty much.

I'm not real sure what MXSkillz is getting at either. Maybe he quoted the wrong post or something... but Mitch didn't exactly "choose" Tickle for anything, he's just helping Kawi honor the contract because they didn't want to bring the kid under the factory tent for his last year. You gotta remember Tickle pointed out, he's being forced to move up. I fully expect this to be a one and done year for the official PC 450 slot. Next year Tickle will be on his own looking for a full time 450 ride.

2007 when he came over to ride a few sx races he wore UFO gear, so why would that be a problem?
