That kid mist have some unreal balance. He flows through that sand like it's nothing. Balance-flow-speed-line choice-momentum-......the kid has it all in the sand. Hope he shows up for Southwick too!

Have you guys see the first lap of Valkenswaard this year? He still ended up winning by a lot and was 3 seconds faster than anyone (even 450's) in his best lap.

Yeh got to agree- his video's are always VERY good

Herlings is something special in the sand- absolutely amazing to watch! I was lucky enough to be trackside at the valkenswaard gp, he absolutely destroyed roczen!!! It was unbleleivable.

When we went over to holland/ belgium for a riding trip in september we went to lommel to ride when jeffrey was there- to ride round the same track as him and see just how fast he really is, is something else!!! The track was so rough that day- he makes it look way too easy!

I really hope he is allowed to race southwick next year, and I look forward to lommel des nations!

The kid who has his camera roosted around 3.55 mark is Tye Kellet who very nearly lost his life in a nasty pile up at the start of the 2009 Weston Beach race when he was just 16. Thankfully fully recovered now and back racing again.

Highly doubt Jeffrey will race Southwick next year...

dont think so, but he does speak perfect english. Both him and his mechanic were more than happy to talk to us at lommel when they were there training.

Valkenswaard 2011 Second Motos

MX2 Best Lap
1 84 Herlings, Jeffrey NED 1:50.831
2 94 Roczen, Ken GER 1:53.484

MX1
1 2 Nagl, Maximilian GER 1:56.361
2 222 Cairoli, Antonio ITA 1:55.236

The kid is insanely fast in the sand...almost five seconds faster than MX1. Roczen isn't too bad either.

Herlings and Roczen are incredible but comparing lap times from different moto's is pretty dumb.

Do you realise how much somewhere like Valkenswaard changes from moto to moto?

Sorry Stan, you are easily confused! It's obvious that laptimes will change from moto to moto at a track like valkenswaard (i was at the gp in april, and i rode the track in september so I do know what the track is like!) - I was just pointing out that even Roczen (in the same race as Herlings) was ALOT slower..

Comprendez?

I posted in reply to someone who was comparing laptimes from MX2 and MX1 and not Herlings performance against Roczen. Craig Marsden? You're not the only person that went to the Valkenswaard GP. Nevertheless, it was mildly entertaining that you went off on a tangent as though you were enlightening me!

I believe Herlings best time in the second moto was quicker than the fastest time in MX1 moto 1 when the track was smoother

yeh i managed to work that one out for myself- it was our first time at the valkenswaard gp this year (we've been to lierop and namur before) - thought it was great! Not trying to enlighten anyone (or add to my 'repertoire' lol)
I apologise for entertaining you- it wasnt my intention!

And it is me (profile pic give it away?!) im guessing that you're not winston churchill

Anyway, back on topic- its a quality video, i love to see jeffrey ride in the sand. Lommel des nations 2012 is going to be epic!!

herlings could have won both groups easily- it was obvious to anyone that watched that gp that he was in a league of his own. The speed he was carrying over the braking bumps into the corners was insane!!! he just didnt slow down. Glad i was at the side of the track drinking a cold bottle of jupiler though, it was way too hot to be riding!!!

If you worked that out for yourself, why bother to quote my message and tell me how Herlings destroyed Roczen that day, as if i wasn't aware?
