How can you tell???

Hell I don't know. As far as I can tell the guy is saying Dungey's bike steals forks but not aluminum. Maybe the bike is having a party and ran out of forks?

I think what he is refering to is that Dungys forks are black on the uppers and Krocks are aluminum colored. So i am going out on a limb here but i think it just a carbon looking sticker that goes on the outside of the tubes? Just a guess.

You shouldn't read the comments on RXI. There are some total effing idiots there and no one seems to moderate the comments.

So are you saying that Dungey had to "steal" his forks? Couldn't KTM afford another set? Laughing

Of course Dungey had to steal his forks, KTM didn't have any more money left after they signed him. LOL.

How about when they said that Roger was keeping Malcom off the track with his 2 star riders..... never mind they are a completly different team based in Australia and Malcom is there with his team testing down under.... I had the real face in palm going on!

the outer tubes are aluminum as they are on all forks since the ice melted. KTM factory guys get to use forks with aluminum lowers that are 50mm and supposedly very light. Either way you'd need to be pretty astute to tell what material Dung's lowers are as the many coatings they can choose would disguise it pretty well.

Aluminum sliders on Works KTM fork is nothing new - different teams have been using them for the last 3-4 years. It is not easy to tell the difference - yet I don't think WP makes a (50 or 51mm) Not sure lower steel tube on that style of Works Fork. I doubt the 250F's run the same fork because of the rules and coat of the fork might be too high to be allowed. (not sure)
