It's like 2007 all over again!

Except my house is underwater and now there's gray hairs growing out of my ears.

1. Stop worrying about the lack of "real dirt" reporting from the regulars. It's not going to change. If you want to see inside pics and read decent interviews, these require some kind of trust between people in the sport and the reporter. You can't expect regular reporters to write about who bangs whose chic or whose trainer knows "PEDs" and then expect things to stay normal.

If you want to bitch about media, consider that the same company that runs the nats is also a mag publisher, website, and is in the middle of everything, and most of you are chicken to admit it that is seriously fucked up. Yer scared to. Yer bigger chickens than the reporters!

2. Stop worrying about PEDs. They exist. They work. They make sense if done right. They are a problem if done wrong. Don't expect media to write about whose trainer knows what.

Note that the Epstein Barr epidemic went away about the same time trainers from cycling appeared. It's not rocket science people. Riders that do their PEDs (like testosterone) right are the smart ones. They are doing these things to battle fatigue from long seasons as much as they are for performance. As long as they don't overdo it, they will be healthier in the long run, and it's not hurting anyone.

Don't expect top riders to do long seasons, train all year, and wear themselves out and not do anything about it. It's too bad that the public can't handle the truth, but that's the way it is. It won't change

I'm just glad things never change..all we need WordNerd back

I gave it to my brother because Honda got tired of seeing it and offered to hand over a demo of some type once a year from their swag pool. Then everyone ran out of money and the swag pool got chopped!

My brother converted it to supermoto, rode it some, then sold it.

I burned the place down! It was awesome.

Then I left it to the bitchy ass previous mods so they could go back to whatever it was they were doing in the beginning.

Yeah, I never went on a moto-board until late 2008, but have heard a lot of great stories about the times you guys had back in the day and some of the TFS stories. Pretty impressive what TFS did with the moto-internet world for sure.. What's amazing to me is how much some of these moto-boards impact (good and bad) peoples real lives on a daily basis. coming in late in the game I had no idea what I was getting into.. Dizzy

I think most of the original stuff I moved to the Ddumbgeon. Some of the older threads? I left them alone. Scottie may have deleted some.

Bumping up five pages worth of old threads? That flushed out a lot of valid threads. I thought that was kind of lame.

So let me get this straight. Last night was a record night for humour, albeit at someones expense. I've stated my case on that earlier. Hopefully, for one young poster, it could have a positive impact on his life, although admittedly, somewhat down the road. There was a LOT going on, but I don't recall anyone getting into the usual streetbrawls and gunfights that occur so frequently around here. There was a lot going on though, it's quite possible I missed it. Laughing to point of hyper-ventilating. Some viewed it as an abhorrent atrocity against mankind, almost on the level of Rwanda in the mid 90's. However, in my mind, and a lot of others, mostly participants, it was a BLAST. But APPARENTLY, it was the view of some that we should return to the Vital of norm. Which from what I can see, is crap like this comment.
Can ANYONE offer a rational explanation as to what makes THIS Vital so much superior to last nights Vital. Perhaps I missed the train, and I'm still standing on the damn platform waiting for it to come in. Anyone?!
Actually, a guy I would love to see chime in on this is Doc Sweden. With his professional training and all. He could offer some insight into the "mob mentality", at least. For the uninitiated. Maybe the need for people to be complete ASSWIPES to each other, simply because of the anonymity provided by the keyboard. ie: Say something in print you wouldn't have the BALLS to say to someones face.

Yep Don...TFS did huck that thing like nobodies business.....I was THERE MAN! Later in the day TFS was scrubbin' that sucker and layin' out some big ol' sick ass flat dope whips for all his peeps! He was showin' all those big name pro riders what was up! I actually saw RC walk over and get HIS autograph , and I think I heard Erin Bates whisper in his ear " Teefus......I want to have your baby".........no kiddin'!! I was there man!
HA!....I must of had a lot of coffee that day! Wonder if Erin ever had his baby?

Thanks for bumping this thread Smile I laughed my butt off reading this one when it originally popped up. I loved when Teef would show up out of the blue and cast a line in the water. He always did it with such authority and class.
