That makes me want a Honda CR125! I will stick with my bike though.

Why did they put a pic of a 125 on an article about 250s?

I wondered the same thing. Then I realized that's just his sig. (I think).

Edit: VERY good looking bike tho. Love it.

Don't you have to put oil in the gas?

Every dirt bike in the world should have black rims.

Whoever invented them was a genius.

yup same here. 2strokes and aluminum frames just don't go together that well IMO.

I thought this part of the interview (particularly the last sentence) was cool and a great way to end it; mainly because Roger is a legend and that was well said.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE METHODS THAT HAVE MADE YOU SUCCESSFUL?

"It may sound funny, but I think that one of my strengths is that I’m a slow learner. I don’t like change. I go to the same restaurant all the time. When I get to that restaurant, I eat the same food every time. I’m steady, but I’m determined. Once I learn that something is good, I never forget it."

The only thing that would make that bike better for me would be a 250cc engine (and about a hundred less sponsor stickers).

I think so, but I think it's easier to put oil in the gas for my smoker, than change the oil in my thumper.

I'd also like to know how they got the pipe that shiney looking, since mine in this pick was brand new.

I've always had good luck with Hondabrite for cleaning the pipe. Spray it on then use a scotch bright and scrub it hard. Comes out like the one above.

Ok, thanks. I actually tried coating it with clear pipe spray, but that didn't work, it still rusted alittle. I love the factory look, but they are more a pain than the chrome one's.

Doesn't that remove the blueish color on the welds?

I spent hours and hours as a kid in my driveway with a scotch-brite pad and either WD-40 or Lime Away trying to keep my bike looking factory. What a pain in the ass looking back, but I just couldn't bring myself to get a painted or chromed pipe.

Right? I feel the same way. Exactly why I deal with it. :-)
This bike is basically my DIY factory bike. LOL. Has the Eric Gorr E85 144cc. Has matched cases. Modded intake. If you look at the forks, those aren't 125 forks, but twin chambers. Triple clamps etc. On the other side, it has a 1 off FMF flywheel case cover. I've never seen one before, so I held on too it for years. Finally, when I built this bike, I knew that case would be perfect. I did screw up though. It has the big rear wheel/tire instead of the 125 wheel.

I happened to come across an fmf ignition cover for this 125 that im redoin. Also found some bill"s and FMF pipes from a certain planet honda rider from back in the day. Still prefer the Doma pipes over all else on the CRs though.
