Most Popular rider with non-Moto crowd?

It's the off season so why not have a little bench racing?

Who do you think is the most popular rider among the general population? I've heard a couple people mention Jeremy McGrath that I would have never expected them to know anything about motocross. I'd say that it is either Carmichael or McGrath, and disregarding their fame else ware (Carmichael and NASCAR, etc.), who do you think is the most popular among non- racing/motocross enthusiast?

OK clearly 199 is obvious choice, lets say if not him then who?

Im going with McGrath in demographics 25+ years and older crowd
and JS7 in 24+ and under.

I completely blanked on Pastrana when making the topic.

So what about pure MX/SX riders? Pastrana made 75% of his fanbase off of X-Games. What about just pure 100% racers?

The thing is that with pastrana he may be famous for his other endevours. I mean obviously a lot of people know him as a freestyle rider, but not as an MX racer. So I think he is arguable, however, we all know him as a racer first and deardevil second.
