What do you guys think?

You get a rider that knows what they're doing riding a 3-wheeler, no quad could ever keep up with one dune-ing at Glamis.

Haha!!

The reasone I asked was because I came across this video earlier today.

Lopez130 and I each had 110's when we were kids and we used to run the shit out of those things. They were so much fun!!! And a buddy of mine had the 250. I just think that people didn't respect them or know how to ride them properly and they of course went the way of the dinosaurs.

I think the 85-86 250 R is tame compared to the air cooled version...I have a 81 that I am restoring and that thing is a true light switch!

Amen, brother. My best riding buddy got a full sponsorship on one of those, raced it one time and gave it back to the dealer and said he'd rather pay his own way to race his CZ.

Still a pretty hard core group in Western NY that race and Hill climb these. They are awesome on ice as well. A guy in Rochester NY still makes them. He has his frame design and stuffs crf 450 motors in them. My friend has a tri Z with a 490 motor in it for hill climbs. You should see the guys that own them try to explain them to 12yr old mx racer.Huh

Picked up this little sweetheart for $300 just to fuck around on. We have a bunch of pitbikes so I thought it would be fun for my son to see what old school atv/c riding was all about. Told him no matter what DO NOT PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN. He did well for about 15 minutes and then got into a situation where his vast 4 years of two wheel instinct took over and that sucker ran right up the back of his leg and spit his shoe about 10 feet. I literally laid in the dirt and laughed my ass off for at least five minutes. I was crying. Super fun to wheely for days.
i dig the skate board trucks for wheelie bars.

Cool, good to know. Looks like he could ride the wheels off of a trike back in their day, I would love to see some videos of him racing them.

Checked out his site, looked like all 4 stroke quad stuff? I have seen one of his pipes on a crf150r before, sounds/looks nice.

I think modern 700cc plus utility atvs as far more dangerous. For some reason, people think they are invincible on them. They get on fire roads and wind them up to 60mph ever seen one of these nuts going that fast?? On the edge of control. Top that off with the fact that these monkey's think it's perfectly fine to let their 8 year olds ride a 600 lb machine. We've had two deaths here in 3 years, both kids under 11 years old and both being "supervised" by their so called parents.

Because of the gas tank behind rear axle people sometimes burned to death after getting hit from behind. Ford knew this but instead of fixing it they figured it was cheaper dealing with death and law suits than rebuilding the piece of shit. U all knew this of course?

Suzuki Samurai. They turnover in a stiff breeze, however make insane rock crawlers.
Dont be such a sheep. Maybe if you would open your eyes and research things for yourself, you would see that things are not always what the media spits out.

In particular, watch the two videos

They are doing the exact same thing with the Crown Victoria. In this case, it's police officers who are being immolated. They are also the most likely people to have their vehicle rear-ended as they are constantly pulled over at the side of high-speed roadways. It's my understanding Ford has a "kit", but you have to order it and pay for it.

A handful of people died as a result of those cars. Thousands die on ATVs. No comparison.
