I don't pay much attention to UFC, but I was in a bar where they were showing tonights fight. I was surprised to see a fighter come to the ring come to the ring dressed in Metal Mulisha gear, just curious if this is a regular title sponsor for this fighter?

Now bring on the Diaz vs GSP fight!
I'd think Deegan still makes the majority of decisions regarding the Mulisha, its his baby along with Link, and quite the cash cow.
As for the original topic, MM has been sponsoring fighters for at least a few years, and it's been a smart move, there is getting to be a lot of fight shirts for sale sporting their logos.

Personally, I think Penn should never have quit working with the marvinovich bros. He was in the best shape of his life. If you need proof go look at his fight with Diego Sanchez.
So, not to totally hijack this thread. Smart marketing move for MM to get some MMA guys endorsed. MMA is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and it carries over to MX also. Just my 2 cents.
Pit Row
Diaz got pulled over his press conference stunt. He got put on as the co-main event against Penn. GSP came up limp the week before his fight, so Penn and Diaz were moved up to the headliner. After the fight, Diaz called out GSP and now, the fight is on, it will probably happen Super Bowl weekend and will be a huge card for MMA.
i doubt they thought the mulisha would be what it is today..but for real..who'd be dumb enough to just let it go to shit so after their riding careers were done they'd have to get real jobs??
many haters forget deegan was a top privateer before the fmx thing..dude won an SX race and was a top 10 national guy in the late 90's
Matt Sera is the reason GSP will probably never lose again until age catches up to him. The dude could be a bum off the street and GSP will never take any aggressive chances and only take advantage of whats given to him and capitalize his opponents mistakes.
I to hope that GSP pounds the shit out of Diaz (Penn did for a few minutes), but I don't see GSP playing that game, the closest he's been to that was the JAB-fest beat down he put on Koscheck, but not many were K.O power punches.
That being said, Nick Diaz is an incredibly aggressive fighter and he will get GSP out of his comfort zone. That doesn't mean I think he'll win, but it certainly won't be the usual GSP lay and pray we've seen in the past.
