When did Stewart ever ride a 250F? I have never seen anyone hit corners as fast as James, when he was on a 125 and 250. Stewart's corner speed on his kx 250 was faster than RC's on his RMZ 450 go back and watch some nationals from that time period! RC was second though.

and no way is Mike Brown-on his best day-even close to Stewart on a 125.
I thought about it after I posted it, but I had to give Mike props. And yes, on his best day he was close to Stewie corner speed. See, there I go again...

Different types of corners favor different styles. On the whole, Carmichael. He destroyed everyone with it his entire career. Stewart is very close, but tends to make more mistakes than RC did.

Tortelli was one of the best ever in bigger, sweeping corners.

Villopoto is probably the best currently, especially in choppy and loose conditions.

If you narrowed it down to one singular moment in time that sticks out to me, ( I can't believe I'm going to say this) Jason Lawrence at the Travis Pastrana designed St. Louis SX from a couple years ago. What he did in that left hand corner crazy giant wall looking berm thing was absolutely amazing. I've never seen anyone get thru a corner faster than he did there.

watch the MEC....dude was on it!!

he was def OTP @ unadilla too and i saw it first hand...

watching j-law on an RMZ450 @ raceway park was also a spectacle..i specifically remember him being WIDE open after the pension plunge and zipping around the turn. the off camber turn that leads to the flagpole straight away @ etown is another one where i couldnt beleive how fast he'd go through it!

Go back in time to the DeCoster and Robert days on bikes with 4 inches of travel. The speed they would carry was sketchy considering the limitations of the machine.
my boy, Vohland was fast as shit when he came back, too... Hard to believe, TV was WFO, and RC still had him covered after GH and Hangtown '99.

i remember watching a 250f helmet cam from the first lap @ pala this year...

you could barely see malcolm stewart absolutely rocketing out of the first few corners in the periphery of the shot, until he just disappeared. was very impressive. will see if i can find the clip

I sat in that corner for hours during practice, they wouldn't even let off coming in to the berm. Stewart, Reed and Jlaw were dragging grips. It was amazing.

J-law at the pastrana designed SX track sticks in my mind, and also Pourcel. It was some 90 degree corner with a berm after a triple, and just one lap in practice, I saw Pourcel rip it 10x faster than anyone else. Blew my mind. Looked like someone had just hit the fast forward button, or his throttle stuck wide open after the jump and he still nailed the corner.

I remember standing at corners at multiple nationals as a kid and lap after lap, RC would hit ruts so hard I could feel it in the ground. No other rider did it, just RC. No one charged a corner like RC, even JS7.
