Whenever he scrubs the bike in the air and lands I always think he is going to crash. Of course he knows what he's doing but damn he always looks so sketchy doing it.

He does not have the smoothest style but he has that yellow jacket attack mode that won't let up. Freaky fast but scares me sometimes on his scrubs and landings.

i think Emig said it best RV has a talent of weighting the rear of the bike to gain the grip he needs to keep the edge of the tire and not wash out. Bubba has the scrub but what RV is doing is taking a style and using it to go faster when the wheels are on the ground. just needs a name............?

it seems like hes actually back to riding the way he did when he was dominating on the 250f. hanging it out, scrubbing, and just plain going fast. his style is awesome

First time I saw him in person years ago now I was blown away by his aggression and use of the whole track... he is going to get by you right now, and in whatever line he wants. He may not have James' style, but similar insano speed, imo.

What I love most about him is that he doesn't back away from anything. In fact, if anything the bigger the challenge and the higher the pressure, the better he responds.

That's it! I was watching him and Dungey entering this one turn at speed in slow motion and Dungey was coming in fast and would swoop in with controlled braking. Villopoto came into that turn from the outside and somehow there was this wave of shit coming off BOTH wheels dirt and rocks flying all over the place behind him. He is so beyond aggressive it's hard to describe. It does seem like he is trying to hurt the track.

I agree. He turns the bike so well in the arse end in the corners and is straight back on the power so quick.

It does look like he is attacking the track and is angry at it, good call.
