You could of probably bought a 2006 or 2007 125 for a few hundred dollars more in much better shape.

Somebody tell me the appeal? I don't get it. The bike looks pretty rough and probably needs a shitload of work.

What am I missing? I would think a bike in that shape would be worth only a couple hundred bucks being as old as it is also.

So PC had it's hands on it but with how much the bikes changed over the years I would think a stock 2005-2008 for not much more money would be a better bike than that. Maybe I'm missing the appeal of it.

Looking at the pics it looks lke the PC fork spec stickers are still there. They should have a name on them. At least a nickname...

they havent changed that much over the years. If its a legit full blown PC bike, im sure it'd smoke any new 125, not to mention the A kit suspenders... for $700 ANY bike that runs is a fucking steal.

Part of A kit suspension is the fork tube coating even back then, more than likely it's just a few internal pieces with revalve and sprung for the original rider weight. We're probably not talking about a full blown team replica PC bike here. And since all those parts are over a decade old they'll need to be replaced anyway. I can understand the idea behind buying it and being excited, but really in the end this is going to be an expensive project in which few of the cool things on the bike can be saved.

My guess is that is one of the bikes like the ones PC sold to the public after the season. All goodies possible minus works goodies. Forks are likely stock revalves. Works engine goodies are gone.

Still a great find!

Unsure He already said the name on the forks matches that of the chick who used to work at PC. Not really any need to guess.

You're not gonna get a running 2000 model of anything for a couple hundred unless the seller is stupid. Price doesn't go down exponentially with the age of a bike. If it did you'd be able to buy a running 80's model for about 50 bucks.

nice find. Needs a lot of work but would be a peach if you did it right. My neighbrohood kid is selling a 2004 Rm125 that he cant afford to fix to me for $600. Nice winter project and I'll make about $800 on the sale

The outer forks are definitely not stock. The lower axle carrier is different than the stock shape and the top of the forks are flush and appear to have two adjustment knobs on them. Also the upper stock tubes taper down more from the lower triple clamp and taper up again at the upper clamp. These taper down and remain tapered. Not to mention the stock pic I'm comparing it too makes the fork legs look wimpy compared with these. They are missing the coating it appears, but looking at these pics and stock there is definitely a difference. Can't tell with the shock.
