It's a hybrid for sure. Nowhere near as technical as some of the usual Supercross events. Big air? Yes. Good for TV, fans, and the riders? Yes.

For instance, you don't see a lot of the sections outside of the stadium (and they were still building some of them, but there are some faster sections with huge jumps, and also a sand roller section (not actual whoops) as they reenter the stadium. Standard SX whoops? There are none. A couple of the riders I talked to said it was fast and fun, but also easy, with nothing to separate them. They said pretty much anyone would be able to go fast on it.

MX is about high speed sections, sweeping corners and rough stuff. They can't fit much of the 1st 2 in any stadium.

It looks very non-technical and almost cartoon-ish, like building with the fat preskool legos instead of the regular ones. Would like to see more technical stuff to challenge these best-in-the-world pro motocrossers real skills, but it will be fun to watch nonetheless.

According to Tony, they are using his old suspension settings he used when he was using Showa with the suzuki (I think?)

For anyone that's seen the vid on Racer X, pretty much everyone is doing it, as expected really. That booter looks fun, I'd almost say I could claim to propose the thought of thinking about considering to try it.

Also, in the interview portion of the vid, something about RV just rubs me the wrong way. He never seems happy doing what he does. I understand it's a job, but it's still a fun, exciting, lucrative job, and he always heirs on the bitter side... Just my opinion, makes it hard to root for him personally, but I absofuckinlutely love watching him spin tires on his motorcycle. He rides with aggression and anger. Like the track kissed his girlfriend where the sun don't shine!
