A Suzuki deal would probably work out better for him. I assume this JGR deal has been an issue with Gibbs due to sponsoring and location. James is with Answer instead of Shift and there would have to be the agreenment of James working/living out of Florida instead of NC as well as keeping his own trainer.

JGR has said over and over the workout/trainer/living situation is not that big of a deal when it comes to a top rider. They will let James do what he does in Florida. Him coming to NC to do testing will be no different than it was when he went to CA for L&M.

The apparel deal might take some work on JGR's part, but I don't see any way that they'd let an apparel deal wreck a chance at having the most talented rider on their bike.

If you haven't had a DUI. You are being ripped off by not using this one ridiculously easy trick.

I jus' can't see anyone offering him the "Garaunteed" salary that JGR can.

Also, he's made some VERY positive comments about their bike (Chassis set-up which has been his major complaint about the YZ-F...).

Combine that w/ Yamaha getting very "Generous" w/ JGR this yr (2012) & it all add's up to JGR making the most sense...but...

It over until the ink's dry.
Or is it possible that a team of lawyers got together, looked over the contract Yamaha had with L&M for James to be on a Yamaha, turned to James and said "Looks like you'll be on a Yamaha again"?

Would it not be bizarre that after all of this with L&M, bad-mouthing the bike in places here and there, and then signing to ride the same bike again?

James loves his bikes until someone pushes him and he falls down. That is the same trap all over again. He won't know if he likes JGR's setup until he wins 4 SX in a row by 30 seconds each time out. If he loses, he will hate it.

Exactly, when did HE badmouth the bike or is this just wild speculation.

James doesn't exactly make himself readily available to the media to talk about things like his bike.

this and that a name like james stewart is the missing puzzle piece at JGR.

Yup.

Can anyone name a single entity in Moto, at this point in time, that has the ability to pull out the check-book and make things happen the way that JGR does?

Hint: You could run the entire "Factory Paddock" (5-Factroy 450 Teams) for the amount of money they spend to field -1- Cup car.

Well, let's see...

There's the "Gibbs" in JGR that is the basis of the "Toyota" in the sponsor pkg, the location of the Team, the ownership & investment.

I'm jus' sayin'...

So If it was a Raiders deal, could it be the Jack Tatum Memorial MX Team? And then we could change James' "fastest man on the planet" to "the mx assassin". Just sayin'.
