Why is it that the factories can run stuff you can't buy at any price but when Paul Lima wants to run a bike that is for sale to anyone with $7000, a Husqvarna 450TC, he is asked to leave?

Once again the AMA hides behind "its the rules" when they blantly do not follow them elsewhere. It's just Retarded.

So now it's the AMA's fault the MFG didn't homoligize it's bike ?

Hell even AJ has the Service Honda's certified.

Now Husqvarna shouldn't need to follow rules ?

How many 08 yamaha's did yamaha have in the states last year when Langston won the championship? From what I understand it was fewer than 20. It's BS and why should they have to pay another 3 grand in fees when the TC450 is legal in AMA racing already?

It's a conspiracy by the Japanese manufacturers to keep that Husky out of the lineup - they're afraid that bike will do so well that they'd be embarrassed and lose market share.

why would someone want to race a bike that ,"wouldnt fall out of a tree fast"?

TM Motors went thru the same thing a few years back. If I remember correctly they tried to race a Supercross without the proper paperwork, they sat in the stands that night also. Look at it another way, if a racer doesn't have a license or even the paperwork to get one and shows up saying Hey I'm ready to race that isn't going to happen either.

Whaambulance? Hardly, you can race anything you want in WORCS including a full one off "Works" bike. You guys crack me up.

I think the part that is stupid is the bike is already legal to race in AMA events. I'm curious has AJ made 400 AF500's?

It's funny, whenever I see a thread created by you I know somewhere in it you will tell everyone how much better WORCS is than the rest of the world. Get over it dude, it was stupid for them to even show up if they didn't have the right paperwork what did they expect?

Not to speak for AJ and I could be wrong - but I think he builds about 300 per year, it's recognized as a production model by American Honda and the bike is available to anyone with a check, so the AMA allowed it.

But I'll bet that if someone showed up at a homoogation race with an AF before AJ got all the approvals, they'd probably have been out of luck.

The joke of it is the bike is legal for other AMA disciplines why not MX?

So you're saying WORCS isn't better than the rest of the world?

Same thing happened to Mike Healy on a IMS Honda 440.

Because the Honda was a trail bike modified XR400, and not intended for Supercross, or Motocross, it was disqualified...and all this after practice, and good lap times.

I'd say that is just as stupid. The AMA will not let you ride a KTM XC either.

Because the KTM XC is not "homogulated" for MX.

KB, Why do you care if the Husqvarna is competitive? Are you paying the bills for it?

Okay, here's your spail chicker for the day...

Homologate

The AMA has AMA rules, and the WORCS series has their own set of rules. You may not like them, and may not agree with them, but if the bike's not homologated for MX, why is it even an issue?

That's it...I'm taking a Yamaha IT175 to the next race and see if I can get it through tech inspection.

Now, just for argument's sake...when Ping did the article on the Chinese-made Tornado(?), was that an AMA event?
