I think the only thing Geoff has right is Roczen #1.

The Shop

The thing that people may not know about me is that I actually follow the GPs fairly regularly, so I know who each of these guys are and what they bring to the table

Baggett beats Herlings every day of the week at any track other than some beach in Denmark. Laughing Laughing Laughing

not even that........
the excelent article of BROflag says that since roczen lost to musquin last year and mm didn't win in ama, and also since baggett won practice in mxdn there has to be an american #1.......
wait.....the flag is getting smaller........its good enough to be an ama racer at #1......doesn't have to be american.....
but then again roczen is going to be racing in ama next year........so when BROflag knows that he might give the kid a chance...
anyway those are two great exemples of good mx media .....no dought...!!!!!!!!!

Im not sure what youre trying to say at all. But brotocross said Roczen being #1 is debatable, he didnt say he isnt #1.

BROtocross is equally good at fishing as Geoff...

So tommy searle was terrible here last year and great at the GPs this year and now hes #3 on the top 10 list?

I do think right now that Roczen and Herlings are on another level than the rest of the field with Deano, Baggett, Searle, and Rattray all on their heals

Paulin needs to be in there at least above Anstie and Tonus IMO should be above Anstie as well knocking Anstie off the list

According to Geoff Paulin is the 9th best 450 rider.

I put him there for the fact that he rode all last season in MX2 except the last round and MXoN but I do think he rides the 450 better he's a big guy and fits it a lot better than the 250.

The name is brotocross for gods sake, of course it is going to be fishing. As far as I can tell, geoff is supposed to be an actual journalist

"Supposed" being the keyword. Only things on Geoff's site are press releases andf fishing expeditions like this.

5. Herlings
6. Musquin
7. Searle
8. Tomac
9. Barcia

I agree, but I would put Musquin somewhere between the top 4 if he had been healthy

I agree with Roczen, but Herlings not so much. Searle has beaten Herlings 'straight up' on several occasions this year. Don't think Herlings quite belongs in the same prodigy category of Roczen! He's close, but is a click back there with the rest of the mortals you listed IMO.

I actually put Paulin in the MX1 list two weeks ago, so figured I would leave him out of the MX2.........
