Reed not doing it, Dunge isn't doing it, Bubba hasn't got a team yet, kind of looking like it's gonna be a one man show even though Barcia and Wilson will be fast
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
That track is sick! It looks long - I suspect some guys that haven't been racing may feel it at the half way point-
Winning in 1 night what he earned racing 12 hard MX races... Tastes pretty sweet...
Martin Davalos on a 450?
A Hungry Alessi...on a Zook?
Bubba getting revenge for a really shitty season?
K-Dub on his 2012 equipment?
Broc and Hanny working on their "450 skills"...?
Barcia putting in some "Stadium Time" on the 450? (I hear he's going to Bercy, too!)
I'm jus' sayin'...
Barcia ripped the starts in Bercy last year and I think he only had one bad race in all three nights.
They had little sprint qualifying races also and Barcia killed it in those....holeshot after holeshot after holeshot.
He also knows how to ride aggressive and bang & pass.
He should be really good at this event and he isn't afraid to race with anyone.
Isn't Bubba still kind of questionable for this event?
But if he is in...you can never rule him out!
Hanny with good starts could definitely be a contender at this event.
Very smooth and can ride slick hard-pack very well.
I haven't seen Davalos or Broc on the 450 yet (at least I dont remember seeing them race one in the past).
With that said...anything is possible out of these 2 guys.
K-Dub when he is feeling it,the guy has a ton experience, speed & heart and knows how to win.
Mike Alessi, possibly the best starter in moto. With 3 10-lap mains and him in good shape he could hold his own against those guys.Money on his mind.
A couple more guys....
Townley on a PC 450. Very fast when he wants to be.
Big boy Bowers is gonna be there and the dude can throw some elbows when he needs to.
He isn't afraid and wont back off.
Not sure who is in or out with these guys Cole Seely,Weimer,Musquin,Metcalfe,Wey,Short ,W. Hahn & Chizz but
they can all go pretty good also.
Chizz did good in Bercy last year also and finished right behind Barcia.
All the guys have had a little rest and sometimes that can mean a world of difference.
Pit Row
He showed some flashes of speed and what he was capable of for 8 laps or so this night.
He is back on a Suzuki now and Varner is back in their program(which should be good for him - they worked together well in the past).
Granted his rear end washed out and he went down on lap 8,but he did keep RV honest for a while and led for 8 laps.
They both looked pretty equal going though those rutted chopped up whoops that night.
I think Mike may have made 1 bobble in them on lap 2 or 3 til he got a line down.
They even make mention of him turning a faster lap then RV, when RV was hot on his tail.
If this Mike shows up and he is solid and keeps it on 2,I dont see why he couldn't run with them in 3 10-lap mains with good starts.
Whoops or no whoops...I think it is all mental for him.
