I thought Reed would retire on that Honda (Hondon't)

Edited Date/Time 7/13/2012 10:31am
After all that stuff Reed said about him finally getting a bike that is good, and how good the Honda handles etc etc, he is gonna ride a Suzuki? I know he said he likes suzooks, but I dont know if you can believe what Reed says. if the Honda was as good as he said it was, why would you not want to ride it anymore? he has shown he is willing to buy whatever he needs. Maybe that crash spooked him? the Honda is all about turning and not about going straight. the back end likes to pass the front. Maybe the DNF pissed him off. after all Hondas arent supposed to break. LOL. maybe he has woken up and smelled the Rockstar?

maybe it's not so much Reed's decision as Honda's?

not too far fetched.

with Dungey leaving KTM, is it really that unbelievable that Factory Suzuki gives full backing to Reed's team and he picks up Metcalfe as a second rider?

then again, i'm just on a SWEETHANGOVER right now

Until I see an official release saying he is moving to Suzuki then I doubt he will leave Honda, but stranger things have happened in silly season. Money talks loyalty doesnt these days.

Did you forget that the Suzuki had problems too this year?

I am a Honda fan but the Kawakas were pretty reliable, ok not a lot of them in the top ten but still the main one that was never broke down at all....just saying....

If Yamaha isn't going to let James out of his contract they might have decided to go with Reed. This is the first that I've heard of it. Remember when RC went to Suz. People were stunned.

Maybe he's pissed that Honda is going to support the Brooks/MC team when they wouldn't support him when he was starting his team...

This. It's clear Chad really liked the Honda. With nothing on the table, he chose them. He looks great on the bike, and has been the class of the field at times. But he liked the RMZ too.

I wouldn't pretend to know the business specifics, but if Honda is offering Brooks & McGrath a substantial package and wouldn't offer Reed the same or better, Chad should certainly explore his options.

Guarantee you won't see him on a Kawasaki or Yamaha.

Does it come down to $$ or does it come down to what bike he thinks is the best?

If it comes down to $$ I'd say Suzuki or Yamaha forks over the cash seeing as they don't exactly have an arsenal of top tier riders.

If it's the bike then he stays red.

If it comes down to money it wouldn't be the Suzuki. Isn't that the reason Dungey left, along with the DeCoster aspect? Reed ended up picking the Honda because he said it was the bike that felt the closest to his Suzuki...so if it's based on the ride....I'm going with Suzuki

CR is a fan of Suzuki. With RC helping him.... watch out.

22 Motorsports Factory Suzuki

Money talks and he loves the Zook.

He is NOT a fan of the Kawasaki or Yamaha
