For what it means to me now. Trans-am race about 1977. St. Peters Mo. Hannah won the first moto, DeCoster passed Hannah in the second moto for the OA. Probably my first pro race to attend.

Any race that involved Paul Malin in the mid 90s at Foxhills! Epic. I was a lot younger then (obviously!), but still never been to a race with an atmosphere that good & intense. But maybe thats the rose tinted glasses! ha.

Was that the Pastrana and Narita battle? Where Travis did the banzai pass up by the start straight section. Or in that area somewhere.

Bingo for the 125's.

2006 Hangtown 450 first moto (RC and Stewart down at the beginning and coming through the pack) and Washougal both motos were epic as well.

The 450 first moto yesterday was one for the ages.

2004 Indy SX Larocco goes wire to wire for his last win in his home state, the fans were nuts wherever Mike was on the track you could tell cuz the fans would stand and cheer when he went by and did it every single lap. Sent chills down my spine!

Hangtown 2004, Both 125 motos. Roncada and Stewart had the best battle I've ever seen. Hepler wasnt far behind either.

Best battle I've seen - Steel City 2007 - Alessi, Windham, Langston - both motos, to the finish.

Most exciting race - Milville 2007 - RC's last race - just being there was amazing.

I damaged my vocal chords at that race.

Seriously, the next day I couldnt talk from the pain of screaming and yelling the previously day. Epic day.

For the smaller class, the 07 250 St Louis SX definitely pops into mind. Townley, Lange, and Dungey battling for about ten laps. Dungey crashes. Townley and Lange then traded the lead a couple times on the last lap until Lange endoed hard on a triple after the whoops. Townley wins.

For the bigger class, the 96 250 St Louis SX. Three way battle between McGrath, Emig, and Larocco. Emig wins, and prevents the perfect season from McGrath. His only loss that year. (Watch Here)

Now the two races I wish I could have seen would have to be 07 Budds Creek and 07 Red Bud. Four epic battles by RC and James. The last four times they EVER raced each other. They made it count that's for sure.

In person would probably be the 2001 San Diego SX.....RC vs McGrath and pretty much the beginning of RC's domination.

Pick any of three or four 450 SX mains from this year.

The last turn from Steel City 2011.

Brown Vs. Langston

Anything can happen.

RC clinched the 250 championship early and raced Steel City to try to break the record for most 125 wins?? Crazy! What a heartbreak, I wasn't into MX in 2001. What a crazy race!
