Ahhhh, I can't remember the kid that won the 125E back in the 80's!

BTW, no Ga. can't claim DM and FL can't claim CR.

Rodney Barr is the guy your thinking of. Sam Dayton was a real fast guy. Tony Summey got around good. Jim Chester played kinda rough. Dana Haas might be the fastest guy you never heard of. Keith Smith was a fast local.
Wasn't there a guy, last name Colemen, that raced with Turpin during his Amateur days? They had some fun races at the old Echeconnee track. Chris I think it was... Not sure.[/quote:cxjdgmam]

Sounds familier. Liles and Turpin had some great battles there and wildcat creek hell all over GA.

Socal people forgot someone posting here. Scott Brown. Although I think Missouri ought to claim him.

Funny Hoenshell story. We were walking down Main street Daytona (there for SX during bike week 1986 during a time when the HD guys wern't so happy about some little punks in Suzuki racing jackets) and we lose Clay. Seems that some Harley guy had made a comment about his girlfriend and Clay is in the middle of his face with about 6 other guys starting to surround him. Clay was at least a full head shorter than all of them. I just slowly reached in, got ahold of Clay and said come on lets keep movin. I really think them guys were so drunk, he would have ripped everyone of them up.
For Georgia you might want to add Jase Lewis and Nico Izzi. ( I realize Nico is not originally from GA but does own property there and spends a lot of time in GA)[/quote:nacsiggh]

Leah Cantrell is also from Georgia.
