I know I'm only an Aussie, but I thunked the Southwick race was in Massachusetts.
edit: Just got your joke. I am a moron!
Wellfleet and Truro is VERY nice, but during low season and winter they die. All people leave, stores are closed etc. I would suggest living in my neck of the wood: Falmouth or if you have the cash Woods Hole or North Falmouth. If you plan to commute to Boston on regular basis Bourne or Sandwich is better since being close to the bridge.
Damn, I had no idea about them closing the bridges during storms, but it makes sense. I guess I have to choose my companions wisely!
