Yeah definitely, Adam Wheeler brings up many interesting points. I think they would make a good team for the entire 2012 season. Malin works better, when he someone to bounce off of.

Malin and Wheeler are brilliant combination imo. For anyone who thinks Herlings can't ride Hardpack... that moto he rode to catch Roczen showed just how fast he is on every surface!

Right Pourcel is in 6th, just ahead of Cairoli, it's time for Pourcel to show everyone that he's still got the speed.

Much more what you'd expect from CP. Very good.

Most annoying thing about the GP's are how smooth and "flat" the tracks are.. It makes it hard to separate the riders and it ends up being a parade... I watch all of them and enjoy them, but my favorites are the sand tracks...

Great ride for Pourcel. Think that's his best finish on a 450 this year in both series. I agree that was a pretty lame move by Roczen at the end of moto1, but sometimes adrenaline/tempers get the best of you. I really like the Locket track.

Can't wait til Unadilla next weekend!

Smooth and flat?

The track was a bit one lined because it rained heavily and the particular shale/mud surface of Loket makes it treacherous off line, but it wasn't particularly flat. Unless you meant there were not enough rollers, or not enough jumps?

The GP series includes every type of surface imaginable, one week its hard packed, next its deep sand, loamy mud etc. Thats kind of the point of racing in different countries and in different conditions, the eventual championship winner is the person who can master all of them.

I agree Jamma. I think it was just the rain that made it look one lined for some motos. Locket looks like it has great elevation changes and off-cambers but the rain made it difficult to get out of the main line. My only complaint about some of the GP tracks is that the obstacles seem to be the same at a lot of tracks (table-top, then waves, then table top, etc...). And that's why I liked Locket... it looked different than the others.

Maybe true if there's someone clearly ahead (like RC for example) but I want to see battles for top positions. Watching riders struggle to get around riders they are better than because there's only one fast line is annoying. I think if you took all the riders and put them on American tracks Cairoli Deselle and pourcel would be clearly ahead of the other riders. I think the appeared depth of GP's is more smoke and mirrors of the one lined smooth tracks. Even Glen Helen is bizarre and not nearly as rough now that it meets the GP prep standards.

the track is awesome to spectate on, really cool old-school track.... but the racing was very one-lined which was unfortunate but sometimes it happens

All season Roczen seems to be overly bothered by lappers. It really seems to get to him. Several times he has taken the time after a race to tell them to stay clear. This time he slugs Petrov after the race?
