I have to believe the 1:52 that Zach Bell ran today was the fastest lap ever at LL. He reeled in Jeremy Martin and took the lead but than late in the moto Jeremy reeled Zach in and took the moto win. The heat was terrible this afternoon.

Zach has been hurt for like the past two years so came in a bit under the radar but is super impressive. Martin is definitly in great shape as in every moto he is in he is the strongest at the end.

Also Hill and Thompson right there as well in B class

In ANY other sport the rider, driver, runner, whatever with the fastest time would be automatically bumped up to a higher class. Congratulations Zach, you're the fastest sandbagger of the year.

Zach tried running this this under armor piece, because his chest protector was bothering him. well, that was a BIG mistake. 4 laps in, the under piece became an oven and he was over heating so he slowed up and let Martin go.

Ponca was Zach's 1st ever national on a big bike so that guys a moron for even saying that. he raced 4 motos at mill creek, but him and Joey crashed together and left Zach with a broken leg so he didn't complete the mains.

He raced the big bikes last year too, but I didn't remember he spent time injured. I believe Gatorback was his first or 2nd race on the big bikes. So yeah, I'm a moron, but I know my racing better than you.

But even with that said, I do take it back. I didn't realize he spent time off the bike and even then, it's still his first full yeah on the big bikes. Amazing ride by Zach and he deserves all the praise he will get for that ride.

But I really hope he moves up to the A class next year. Yeah he may only be 16 but so is Roczen, and Herlings is 15 or 16. When you have the pace you should move up.

re-read what i said, dipshit! i said it was his first NATIONAL!

the point of my response to your idiotic rant was that he was a sandbagger in which i am giving you the facts why he's not. not; Zach has ridden a bike bike at a local race.

and so he can please you, he will be moving to A at the end of the week. i hope you're happy.

I love these responses. Martin is bad ass, so is Zach. I have no favorite. But the mentality on this board cracks me up. Some people have no idea what goes on at these races. The first place theory is gone. The guys are so fast now ( everyone) consistency is winning titles. I hold Martins in the highest respect, as I do the Bells. How do you know he " didn't let Martin go?".

was just saying it's a common thing to say after getting passed and beat. i heard it all the time when i was racing from the back and winning my local races. now that i've stopped racing as much, i see it tossed around a lot still.

it couldn't have been that martin smoothed out (as mentioned on the review videos) and picked up his pace to catch and pass. nah, that never happens.

who cares, fuck me for having an opinion on what was said.

Sandbagging has never been a problem in the "C" and "B" classes at LL...everyone knows that. Whistling

Sounds like Jeremy and Zach are dicing it up, so that's good.
Everyone deserves one big dominate win at a National event before going up to the next highest class IMO.

I agree with Peelout...

How do you know Martin didnt just catch him and pass him? I was watching the race timing, ya Bell was flying but Martin was running consistant 154s...imo even if Bell hadnt (assuming he did) let Martin by, Martin would have gotten him anyway. Jeremy's biggest problem this week seems to be his starts; his speed and consistancy are there. Luckily he got a good start that moto.

Well for one you just earned my respect for racing. I also apologize for being a dick I am just sick of these guys who post sooo much shit on here. It used to be hard core racing. I will agree he could have smoothed out and slowed. I just think both guys deserve props. I am shocked at the people who don't follow the up and coming guys. It is all good.

sorry for starting the shit storm, i was just responding to the "let him go" thing. maybe he did, maybe he didn't. at the end of the day it doesn't matter, a 2nd is as good as a first in the first moto anyway. looking forward to watching how it all pans out.

also, no disrespect meant to Bell

for the record, i didn't mean he waved him by like Stewart did to Reed.

that under protector over heated him and his feet started going numb. he just said it freaked him out and he backed it down.

no disrespect to Martin at all.

he never rode with one before and it was stupid of us to let him try it at the biggest race of the year. oh well, lesson learned.
