Irvine, CA (June 1, 2011) – The GEICO EnduroCross team is thrilled about the opportunity to showcase this very exciting sport during X Games 17 at the Staples Center. Schaefer Tracks, the official EnduroCross track builders, will construct a very technical track that will challenge the best Off Road motorcycle riders in the world. As is common for an EnduroCross track, it will feature rocks, logs, sand, a pool, tractor tires and loose logs that all contribute to nonstop action and unpredictable racing....read more HERE

I jus' don't get it...

The story is that ESPN/X-Games wasn't thrilled with the lack of Factory Support for the Games; but, who knows if that's true...? (In regards to SX/Super-X)

On the other-hand: Maybe they'll turn this into an excellent TV production...dunno...

Looks like the L.A. Coliseum is out, too.

Rally Cars will run thru the streets of down-town L.A., tho.

It's not as bad as you think it is... It's worse. A buddy of mine has a tame-r Endurocross course in their yard, and it's a beating to ride it.

I bet that race will be a lot more exciting on TV than the SX on the blown out X track they had to ride in the past.

Sucks too, cause the SX event "could" be the best event of em all if they did it right. Hmmm...maybe they don't want to do it right. Maybe they are afraid to steal the thunder from the other lame events.

The riders could get hurt and in the middle of the outdoor season and lose a title and there is no money in it for the riders and no time for testing for SX because of outdoor bike set up. No reason for the riders to do it. Wait I heard this in reverse at the end of SX. Enduro X is the best indoor motorcycle racing there is to watch. Its not always the best but the luckiest. It better to watch the SX.

Good eye OCScottie!! I'm glad someone pays attention. I'm not pushing tampons, give me that! And I do ride and live what I'm preaching! And yes the events are almost sold out due to the number of seats decreasing. No coliseum and no home depot center. Hope you make it down!

The stands always look empty because it's much like a concert with many things going on at once. It's a bit bigger and better run than a SX event.
