I think it's awesome! Like everything else it always helps to see it in person. Gear companies all make some colorways that are "way out there" as well as some that are good for the "every-person".

Do these companies ever do marketing focus groups with prototypes to see if real mxèrs like the stuff before putting it into production. It`s done in almost every other industry.

Well, at least in this economy the designer that ruined Wulfsport back in the 80's seems to have found himself a new job.

those are the two ugly colors, the entire rest of the line is the same colorways that they have rehashed for the past two years already.

While I don't find these colorways very appealing, I think a lot of people here on this board have a false sense of the market as a whole. Most here are the very "core" of the market, follow the sport religiously, some have been through multiple trends, and in fact are a vocal minority in the grand scheme of things. That last one might hurt a little but its the truth. It's not a dig on how much someone here thinks they are are an expert or think they "know" or how "OG" they are to moto. You have to step beyond our small world here. It's much much bigger. I'm not going to try and pull numbers out but I would be surprised if everyone here represented more than 10-20% of the market at most.

Thanks for posting that. The evolution stuff is still a little busy, but not too bad.

Ecstasy is quite popular for the demographic group they are trying to appeal to. You guys are just old.

Personally the designs don't work for me although I tend to think the forum is made up of, should I say, more mature guys and gals. I guess we'll have to wait till the sales numbers are in next year to see if they pull it off. One thing positive is that the designs are unique!

I don't even think a bunch of Euro rockers out of the heads on Vodka, Redbull and Ecstasy rockin' out at the Ministery of Sound with Pete Tong, their pacifiers, light sticks and vapor rub in hand would consider rolling that garbage.

I agree that we are not the demographic that any company is going for....lol.
I don't care much for the Fly stuff but that is personal taste.

No Fear has some nice clean stuff this year and even the "graphic inspired" stuff is nice.
These are the 2 designs my kid is wearing this year.

After 93,789 positive comments about Reeds Shift gear on this board alone it makes one wonder if the customer is even a concern to the gear companies. Instead of hoping your high paid graphic "artist" will come up with the next big thing (the last "big thing" was in 1987) you might want to listen to your customers.

That gear goes GREAT with four strokes!

I think it wouldn't be that bad in different colors
