Although a couple of years old, this video serves as a freindly reminder of just how much of a bad ass Josh Grant is on a MX bike.

Don't write Josh Grant off just yet people. Josh has raw talent on a dirtbike like few others possess. And the factories know it Wink

People quickly forget that Josh has won SX and National races. He will overcome his injuries and he will win again.

Im not really a big JG fan but that's still one of my favorite mx videos. the guy can ride a dirt scooter!

Agreed. Excellent video, but the guy needs to realize that he isnt a gangsta, and focus 100% on MOTO.

I am looking forward to that day if it ever comes.

JG doesn't think he's gangster. He's just badass, which makes it acceptable for him to rep the Mulisha. Honestly after meeting most of the "Mulisha" riders when no cameras were around, they're a bunch of laid back dudes who aren't "gangsta" at all. It's all an act, just like JG and him "throwing up the bones".

Observations:

- hasn't lived up to expectations
- gets hurt a lot
- tremendous raw speed
- great style
- will never be a title contender; he's a guy that at one time could win a race, and that's it
- the metal shtick and full sleeve tattoos doesn't cross over well into the hard core moto crowd
- after fucking up his knee again, he should be worried about his career

Watching this, a guy like Grant, it makes you realise just how bleedin good you've got to be in order to be a champion.

He probably won't keep his Honda ride. But trials are only temporary. I think his actions with Metal Mulisha have affected his career. IMO he needs to completely sever his ties with the MM and clean up his image like Moose Knuckle said. The MM may be laid back when the cameras aren't around, but so are criminals and inmates when their buddies aren't around to show off in front of.

For once I will agree with ya, Devin. I hate the bro core FMX jazz as much as the next person but most of the time they are pretty settled and cool people.

This is random but the biggest ************* on TV that represented FMX/MX/SX was that dero "Highland". It was a try out sort of show about FMX and I can honestly say he is the biggest pest we might see.

Josh's agent should sit down with Honda and ink a deal for 1 more year. This would give Josh enough time to get his Knee fixed and be ready for Ana. 1. Where is Honda going to get a top 5 guy and proven race winner for the kind of money they could sign Josh for?

True. Honda has Trey also , with Reed riding red as well though ( not sure of the extent of help Reed is getting right now.....probably the whole steak dinner I would think). We'll have to wait and see where Josh lands next year. I hope Honda gives him one more year to prove himself. He has had some shitty luck this season for sure.

Josh will soon be one of the guys riding for "bonuses only" on good equipment. Wasn't his deal that he bailed on with Valli going to be for 2 years?? I don't remember for sure...

Not a Josh Grant fan when his helmet is off..but I never get bored watching him ride a dirt bike.

It's unfortunate that injuries have held him up this year.

Josh Grant is a punk. After his take out of 800 in lakewood I lost any respect for him. He will never get his ego out of the way of his bike long enough to be a threat for any championship.

He should just go rip up a few golf courses with his friends.
