He might as well race. What else does he have to do? His kids aren't that old.

Kevin has been racing at an extreme level since he was around eight years old. He's missed out on a lot of things in life because of this. So to get back to you question of "What else does he have to do"?

Enjoy all those things that he's missed out on for so many years. There is much more to life than racing.
Sure, he has kids, but his clock is ticking. There will be plenty of time to spend with the family. He only has one kid right?

I would sacrifice 1,000 puppies to see Kdub win another championship. It probably wouldn't help, but it might be worth a shot.
I knew there was reason i left vital for a while...... Lame comments ....... think before you write.

If he continues the Nationals, I just kind of wonder if he's doing it for the Geico Honda team. Think about, if he keeps helping Honda out this summer (again), maybe Honda will fork over some more support to them for the future. Not that Geico Honda is doing that bad, but with the economy and it always seems like they want a 450 rider. K Dubs got a few more years and he's establishing the foundation for their future. When I think of all the riders who've riden Honda's, the first one that comes to mind is K Dub. Regardless, he's an awesome ambassador for our sport!
"When I think of all the riders who've riden Honda's, the first one that comes to mind is K Dub." Seriously? K-Dub is a good dude...

Back in the early 2000's (I can't remember the exact year, sorry) when K Dub signed with Factory Connection, he had considered strongly in retiring. He has even admitted, before then that he was at home drinking beer and getting drunk almost every night during that period. All of this was caused from when he got hurt when he rode for Factory Suzuki. Racing wasn't a passion anymore, but he turned himself around and signed on with a team, that I think for the most part no one really expected to last long. Larocco was on FC, but really look at the satellite teams from that era.,,,, they were gone before they really got established (except PC). Anyways, he is STILL on the same team. He is a fan favorite. His fellow racers love him, as well as retired racers do too. He might not have as many championships as McGrath or Carmichael, but that does not define a legend. When K Dub was racing 125's supercross he raced 250's on the opposite coast and won. He was one of the first pioneers who raced a 450 full time when he came back, because he knew they were the future. Monday morning more people are talking about his transfers than they are who won the supercross race. He loves this sport as much as I do. That is why I think of him first...........................

Who do you think of? I am with MT MX. KDub!
Let's see:

MC
RJ
Bailey
O'Mara
JMB
Hansen
Stanton
Lamson
Henry
Thorpe
Malherbe

You know, just the guys who won numerous titles aboard them?

KW = great ambassador for the brand/sport and a part of Honda's history, but does not deserve to top that list.
