X-rays showed no broken bones for Roczen, but his back is severely bruised

Wow that stinks. Sounds like he hit his heard pretty hard. I hope he is ok. Seems like he has been hitting the deck a lot these days.

he's hitting the ground a lot this season, it's 2 hard ones in a row now.

Hopefully, he'll be back next week, at his full potential, he could probably ride at 95% and still take a double moto victory, he doesn't need to be going flat out everywhere once he's in the lead IMO

That sounds like an injury that will make Nagls season pretty difficult. Hopefully they can make him some special protection that can keep it in place, but the pain must be tough to handle.

Was Roczen leading the race when he crashed?

Some great battles in the GPs today. Super bummed about Kenny, that crash was brutal... hope he can heal up quick.

he hit a kicker; pretty simple. could of happened to him or anyone else in 25th place. i hope his noggin is ok, and even more glad he was smart and did not ride with a possibly jacked up back.

Kudos to KTM & Stefan for being so open about Ken's condition after the crash and even questioning wether he has been doing too much with his SX & GP double schedule.
Makes the Stewart post Vegas crash, will he? wont he? be riding the nationals speculation and lack of any info from the team or Stewart's camp look very unprofessional!

Overall Roczen is easily the fastest guy most times out, but there are other times when the competition isn't that far off and I think it's on these occasions where he's a little bit vulnerable to maybe trying too hard.

Obviously he's going for it and hindsight is a wonderful thing, and it's also true that anyone can hit a kicker.... but maybe I'm wrong in saying this - wasn't he about the only rider attempting to double into that section? I watched the all the races but it's not something I noticed until now (for obvious reasons).

Given the position he was in, just as with his scrub in France, one wonders whether he was maybe over riding and taking risks that aren't really necessary. But who knows. Don't get me wrong I'm not hating on the guy. The main thing is that he's OK. To be fair the track claimed a lot of people, TV obviously couldn't do it justice.

he had a diferent line through there and since 1st moto he was on the edge of control there.........
i think his hart and his management is putting him in a tough spot..........even if he is the fastest and has the best bike he is still a humam kid.......and his competition deserves respect cuz they are doing their best and they too are very good at it..!!!!!!!!
the presure to be the dominant force of mx2 and to put ktm on the top worldwide is making the kid loose prespective.......he is taking hard hits because of overdoing it while in front........!!!!!!!!!
he is still in a learning process, so i hope he figures fast that there are no supermen and special that even if you are the best your competition always deserves respect..........

the way that he rides accidents are waiting - watch the last 2 GP's and he has been very close.

Hope he gets back to it soon - top rider and willing to give it all for the win - sometimes I wish he wouldn't though as we need him in the sport and not out.

Roczen is a BEAST! Hope to see him back in th US soon.

Herlings has been on Roczen's pace just enough that it is forcing Ken to ride perfect races every week to win.. that is just not possible at their pace ... plus he had a hard race in race one and probably wanted win the mental battle with Herlings in race two.. it is Ken who has the pressure Herlings isn't expected to beat Ken this year, but Ken is expected to beat Herlings. Maybe the hype and pressure is taking it's toll on him, and combined with Herlings speed being similar, Roczen is not having it all his own way this year.

He has the best team in the business however to help him overcome the current mistakes as both Stefan and Beirer will have been through the same pressure, especially Stefan. Ken is in good hands and is very smart himself, I still have him as the favourite for the title but Herlings is impressing me more and more. Searle cannot be counted out and and Roczen has just given them both a bucket full of confidence too.

Hopefully Ken can race at 100% this weekend in Spain, he is fantastic to watch but the MX2 battle is heating up nicely.

I don't think anyone would have predicted Herlings would be leading the series after six rounds with three GP wins to Roczen's two.. with Roczen making the bigger mistake...but that is why motocross is so cool.. you just never know!
