I dont understand why people keep saying Dungey is the fastest guy. Pretty sure Reed and Ryan have basically swapped motos in both races (seeing as Ryan probably would have won the last moto at Freestone). Chad came from behind at Hangtown and passed both Ryans. When has Dungey passed Chad and won? Not saying RD isn't fast, I just think they are on an equal level right now.

Probably because when RD wins he wins by 20-30 seconds (a minute over RV) and when Chad wins its by 5-7seconds or when RD runs out of fuel.. Not to mention that last weeks first moto for RD was one of the best ever in MX coming from dead last to Reeds rear fender and a second place finish after backing it down the last few laps.

IMO RD is the man to beat in any moto, maybe not this years championship after the DNF though. Reed and RV are super fast, don't get me wrong and maybe a few others will be in the hunt for wins also this year but Reed, RV and RD are the men that will win most of them IMO with the championship nod going to Reed if he keeps winning and taking seconds.

"Some" of you guys are the BEST.

We have some of the finest racing in the past 10 to 15 years, and all a few of you can do is argue about who's the fastest...

Reed - Wiley veteran, fast as hell, healthy, great attitude.
Dungey - Young kid, fast as hell, healthy, great attitude, needs a bigger gas tank..
Villipoto - Young kid, fast as hell, great attitude, just off the pace but coming on.
Windham - Wiley veteran, fast as hell, getting better with age, needs one more something to compete for the entire moto.
Stewart - Use to be the FMOTP, nerves are getting to him, Bubba's world is a distraction, he needs to get back to being a racer
The rest of the field - lots of fast dudes, but none that can win on a regular basis. Unless I've forgotten anyone...

For those that don't think he trains with rc. I don't. Know if rc rolls wqith him but whenever rdtalks about the ranch...u know he's referencing thew carmichael training facility with full on sx tracks motocross tracks made out ofd sweet georgia clay and and full on southern heat and humidity.

Pretty sure that's where "bootcamp" takes place...

Dungey is a finely tuned machine. It's like I forgot until I saw him at Hangtown. The fact that Reedy is keeping him honest, and even beating him in motos says so much about Chad IMO. Chad isn't playing, we still have MA800 , Canard and Grant coming back, and we still haven't seen the best of RV2. Gonna be a great outdoor season.

this is it ^^^^

I'm thrilled that we had a competitive SX season and now we have the same in MX. Nobody knows who is going to win week in and week out.

I personally think that counting out RV or RD at this point would be short sighted. Possibly a couple of others that could impact the series as well.

but for the sake of conversation, how fucking gnarly would it be if Reed won all 12 overalls this year?

Its to bad RV's DNF cost him and even bigger points lead and some confidence. Its to bad JS7's crashes cost him the SX title, It's to bad reed not having a factory honda the whole season cost him the sx title, it's to bad TC'S injury cost him the sx title. You don't know that he would have won the title if he didn't have those DNF's so quit making excuses no one else did.
You are so butt hurt that Dungey is from Minnesota and not from Iowa arent you? Heres the difference between Dungeys DNF's this year and the other guys, his are bike problems everyone elses DNF's were there own fault, and you should love the no comp from last year how else would BRAYTON HAVE GOTTEN TOP 5?

Thats what it would take to get Ricky off the circle tracks and back into real racing!

I've learned that no matter what you say, they think a mechanical and a rider error is the same thing. I too think they're completely different and have tried to explain it to them many times, but I'm starting to think it might be best to waste my time on other things since a real racer would know the difference anyway. I'll add to it a bit and say that Stewart, Reed, and Villopoto were in last year's championship. They all crashed out. Dungey was the fastest in control consistent guy through 17 rounds, which included those three. So he's the champion. No asterisk should be next to any championship.

Which makes him a very hard man to beat in this series . That 2nd moto at Freestone blew me away at how fast he rode with making no mistakes and doing it with ease in my eyes. RD has the perfect combination for outdoor sucsess speed, fitness, and mistake free riding and a great team. I know people say RV is the man to beat but for me it's RD .
Really well put Kong....and i agree 100%. Even though Reed has a points lead right now....he still has his work cut out for him by beating RD this season. I knew RD was gonna be fast.....but he's faster than what I had thought he was going to be! I hope RV gets to feeling better in the next few weeks.....because we are gonna have a 3 way battle for the lead here really soon.

Not at all just paying respect where respect is due my friend. I am a JS fan but cannot help but admire RD after how he finished in SX last year he owned everyone but in SX this year it was a different story so to see him come out and really show some great speed and fitness as well as mistake free riding at a really fast pace has really impressed me.
