Anyone using Motorex Long Term Grease 2000?

Long term user of it here, well over 5 years.

I've found it to be great for all but the harshest points on the bike, it doesn't last as long as I'd like on the lower shock mount point on my RM linkages. I think something a bit thicker and 'heavier' is needed. This is a very open and exposed bearing though.

But for all other uses its really really good. Axels, calliper slide pins, headstock, linkage, swingarm etc etc. I even use a tiny dab on my titanium bolts and never have any galling or seizing issues.

I also like its light green colour, its really nice to do a strip down parts after 10-15 hours and still see a nice light coloured grease. Some greases look dark and 'used' straight out the tub

Is it waterproof? I've been using the maxima blue stuff forever and really like it. I always thought the Motorex stuff always came in cool looking packaging but never tried it since I've been a maxima guy for awhile now. I recently tried Bel-Ray chain lube and I'll never buy again, it was horrible! Chain lube all over my boots and stand after every Moto. The maxima stuff stays on the chain and x-rings much better. 

I’ve used it for over five years. It’s considerably better than the Maxima and Belray waterproof grease. I’ve noticed the lubricity is also better than other waterproof greases. I’ve had a few friends try it and they swear by it. It’s my favorite grease for linkage bearings by far. I also pressure wash my bike every ride and it seems to hold up better than all the other greases. I used every waterproof grease known to mankind and in my opinion, it’s awesome. 

I switched from the motorex 2000 and 3000 back to maxima. I never noticed any +- from it, the maxima is just more tacky. It’s hot out here in the desert and the motorex would turn into more of a gel. Which I’m sure doesn’t matter once it’s in the bearings 

The Maxima stuff seems to be very good at keeping water out if you're a heavy pressure washer user. My bike is almost is 6 years old and I haven't had to replace any bearings because they rusted. I can easily put 30-40 hours on steering and linkage, open it up and the grease is still blue like it was going in. I'm still interested in this motorex stuff though because.... why not. 

I needed a new tub and asked my dealer to order a tub of BelRay grease for me and he got another brand cant remember what it was but it was red and thin like you are describing. The engineer in me was thinking that maybe thin would reduce the force needed to move the parts but …… I still didn’t like it and threw it in the trash and got a tub of BelRay off amazon
