So, today while on our way to grabbing lunch my wife and, I were sitting at red light. In front of us was a Tesla Cybertruck. She ask’s, WTF IS THAT THING!?!

IMG 9510.jpeg?VersionId=OKt3JSnb2Qb
I started laughing.. She says, that is the official vehicle of, I got picked on in high school. I started cracking up.

Right beside it was a Chrysler 300. I told her look. That car comes with an emblem showing their credit score. We’re going back and, forth. The official car of, possession with intent to distribute she says.

Anyways, while sitting here, I figured WTF. Start a thread. What are your first thoughts on certain vehicles that stand out to you guys? Or, vehicles that come to mind worth sharing a laugh? I don’t care if it’s a car, truck, weed eater and, everything in between.

Keep it fun. Happy Saturday fellas.

In South Africa anyone who drives a BMW thinks they are entitled..in short we call them c@nts.

One morning on my way to work I was driving a small Nissan 1400 pickup. It was a company vehicle with branding/ phone numbers on it.

I'm cruising the speed limit whilst trying to eat a hot mutton curry pie when this dude comes flying up behind me in his BMW...flashing his lights. I ignore him and keep driving. The dude works himself into a rage and eventually pulls up next to me at the traffic lights. His window is down and he is cussing me out viciously...I lose my cool and send my hot mutton curry pie through his window  where it collides with the side of his neck.

He is speechless and has curry all over him. He had to pull over and I continued to work.

Later that morning my bosses PA calls me to head office. The guy had called in to complain, threatenin to lawyer up. I explain the story to my boss ( who is also a good friend) when I finish, the boss asks...what car was he driving. I say BMW.

With that my boss says..fuck him.

Yep, bmw drivers.

The majority are total road tools.

One of the first things my GF and I found we have in common when we first met.

Subaru drivers are the next on the list.

Edit:

Pretentious, especially the outback wagon driver's.

Just sitting here with a neighbor, he said, "where are all the subaru owners, who think they're in all terrain vehicles now ??? When all you see now are, jeep, trucks, and other real 4x4's".

Kind of a running joke around the linville gorge area, the number of outback wagons that converge around here on the weekends.

What’s the difference between a porcupine and a BMW?

The pricks are on the outside of a porcupine.

I think a lot of people are just jealous of our parking abilities……

Four runner: the only knots I know are for tying shoelaces and neck ties.

Wrangler: same as above, except I find road noise soothing.

Short box single cab pickup: Mexican cartel company car. Bonus points if Chevy Cheyenne.

White van: I have secret dirt bikes in here but I kind of like people thinking I’m a creep or an Amazon driver.

I wondered how long it would take this thread to devolve into BMW owners trashing.

Plenty of assholes driving all brands of vehicles.

Love mine....I've owned it over 20 years.   Phenomenal car to drive...last of the great BMWs   V8, 6 speed manual...and goes like stink.    They don't make em like this anymore, the new ones are not the same.  The "ultimate driving machine" has become the "ultimate bloated pig" after 2003.

Keep it fun. Happy Saturday fellas.

My wife said she had the same reaction to the Tesla Cybertruck when she first saw one.     When we were out driving together, another one passed us and she asked if it was a backyard one off custom thinking it was the one she'd already seen before.   I laughed my ass off.

We recently went to a winery for a concert up in Temecula and stayed overnight.     They have these really nice little bungalows.   We pull up to park in front and unpack and one of the Cybertrucks pulls into the spot next to us.    My wife gave me the roll eyes look.    The funniest part was the guys wife/girlfriend getting out of the truck looking like she'd rather be seen getting out of a Yugo.

I wouldn't be caught dead driving one of those.     Even lamer than a Prius.

I'd give up my front seat in hell for a 2002tii, even a 320i.

Or best of all, an old Bavaria.

Can't argue with you on the 4runner.

But only these 5th gen's you see running around everywhere.

Drop $70,000 on a TRD pro, add a $1,300 rack, $500+ pop up tent, a ladder hanging off the back.

And the only bump it'll ever take is, backing into a parking lot curb at the monthly cars and coffee get together.

But the V8 4th gen ???

That's a damn off road beast, even with just 33's.

Insane the stuff this thing will climb, drop into, pull up, out and over.

And roll down the freeway like a Cadillac on the way back home.

Though it never met a gas station it didn't want to immediately pull into.

It's a thirsty beast.

Oh man....  I've always LOVED the old stepside Chevys....

I'd kill for one of these.

I'm partial to the older BMWs myself.

Wish I had my mom's 1986 635Csi....that car was a blast and one of the best looking cars (and coupes) ever made.

That’s 90% of pickups now, honestly.

I did an 89 a few years ago and dropped 2001 250 forks on it, those forks were horrific.

I’ve got a 7 series (Li version) approaching 10 years old with 65K on it that I will probably drive until my funeral. It may not be the fastest or sharpest handling Bimmer of all time, but it does both of those things pretty damn well for a car of that size. Whether on the drive to work or the 2K mile drive I brought it on to Texas, I couldn’t imagine a better driving car.

I have to admit that I get a bit irritated in the little 3 series guys with the fart sounding exhaust driving like idiots, though.

Bonself that things freaking cool !, and there’s a bunch of stuff in the back ! lol. That’s not the average step side I was referring too.
Don’t feel bad there’s bound to be some discrepancies and exceptions in this thread. Like Manny calling out land rovers 😁 Maybe mine was old enough to get a pass hahaha.  My 73’ series 3 88.

Lambo = gigantic douche.

Caveat:  I'm not one to ever begrudge anyone for the money they make.   We know some pretty filthy rich folks and none of them would be caught dead in one of these.      The image this portrays is not positive in any way.    See a few of these around are area and it's always some grease-ball driving them.
