Why does Trump have it out for Massie? He always votes based off the constitution and is a very reasonable guy. Hasn’t taken money from foreign PACs like the rest of them. Raises his own beef. Lives off grid on 1000 acre family farm. Built his own home. Wait, now I get it… He’s exactly the type of person the govt hates. Trump has his head up his ass on this one. Massie is a good dude.

He did a pretty good interview with Theo Vonn. Smart guy.

With Trump it is all or nothing. He demands 100% loyalty.

Massie’s loyalty to the constitution and his constituents is far more important.

Big +1 ^^^. Society is losing its compass via idolatry. Right or left, people are losing loyalty to ideologies and replacing them with Youtubers and politicians.

Anytime I've heard of a guy maintaining a 1000-acre farm, he generally doesn't have time for much else.  Decides to live off the grid, and a be sitting congressman.  Probably worked well in the 1700's, doesn't make much sense today.

That’s his business not ours. None of those other worthless fucks in Congress or senate do a damn thing besides steal your money and make things more difficult. I’d guess he’s got some employees at the farm. Farmhands these days get paid pretty decent. In the link I posted it talks about what Massie did before the move back to the family farm. If he’s got the means to do it and provide a good life for his family then good deal. I’m not here advocating for everyone to be 1000 acre farmers and live off grid. I’d MUCH rather see someone like Massie pouring money into his farm then get tours of Nancy Pelosis house where she shows off her however many dollar a pint fancy pants ice cream she’s got. Fuck her and the rest. Thomas Massie is our only sliver of hope and that fucking egomaniac Trump is going to try his hardest to remove him. At least then we will have closer to 100% AIPAC supported members of Congress and senate. The list of non aipac politicians continues to get smaller.

I think getting back to farming at the individual level would be incredibly beneficial to this country. Even small scale, it's amazing what can be done in a little backyard.

It was a pretty interesting article, thanks for the link.  You're right what he does on his farm is none of our business.  Just wish it would've explained a little more on why he wanted to become a congressman, and what he has accomplished during his time.

Having a handful egg laying chickens and some fruit trees and berry bushes is a good way to utilize some yard in a constructive manner but individual farming is a huge waste of time for relatively little gains compared to economies of scale agriculture.

It only makes sense, you can control the chemicals etc.... one big problemo though.... People are lazy... they don't even want to maintain yards these days.  Personally, I am the opposite. I like to work hard, and see how far i got and the payoff. In this instance, I loved designing the landscaping to our yard.  Now it is a personal oasis.

That' awesome. I don't know what the antonym if for a vicious cycle, like for something positive stuff, but....it's that. And even lazy people can get there, just gotta start small and get that snowball effect going.

No one has pointed out a single negative thing about Massie yet. He’s anti spending so that’s why Trump wants him out.

JD Vance was asked this question by a student at the Turning Point event last night. Said Massie votes against the party for nearly everything at this point and Trump can't endorse that.

He's against big government and foreign entanglements. I thought that's what MAGA was. Apparently they changed their minds. They are targeting Rand Paul too. The only 2 Republicans on capital hill that aren't cowards. May be a couple more.

We've known it the whole time though, just look at his first term. People say, "but Covid!!!", except you can plainly see Trump's spending for the first three years before Covid.  And really this goes back to the 80's, both in politics and on wall street, It's been spend-to-the-fucking-moon ever since. Red or blue, doesn't matter, just fleece all of us dumb mf'ers. And we really are dumb mf'ers, because they have everyone making up excuses for the spending from their guy, then blaming the other guy for their spending. I's beautiful, you rob people right in front of their eyes and they deliberately refuse to see it.

I would not place any hope in men of government, for you will be let down. The problem of government will not be fixed with the mechanisms of government. The administrators of government cannot and will not fix the problem of the administration of government.

John Adams quote

“ The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments of their duties and obligations… This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people, was the real American Revolution.”

I dunno about the us/them thing between the masses and government. The masses are bitter and polarized and hardcore consumers all loaded up with debt, so what's the difference? We are them and they are us. Seems like we want to go back in time to when we all connected locally instead of globally, but there's no such thing as a hymenoplasty for what's wrong.

Yikes!

Let the record show "Hymenoplasty" has entered the chat. 😀

I'm happy to say i had to do an internet search on what that was. 😯

Are both parties not off in left field? Show me the ones where Massie incorrectly voted. Show me where he has betrayed his constituents? And “yawn” about the Israel funding vote. Lmao. Fuck it’s so comical when people believe that Israel doesn’t call our shots. Ol Zion Don…Netanyahu could hardly keep the grin back when he was straight up asked like two weeks ago.

Most of the country voted less than a year ago for the most pro-Israel president in history, fortunately or unfortunately. The anti-Israel Epstein conspirators on X are the fringe.

Out of curiosity, would you say that Netanyahu pushed Trump into the recent alliances with Qatar and Saudi Arabia, too?

Being one of the few republicans to vote on release of Epstein files certainly wasn’t popular with the president or other republicans. I don’t see how you could deny that regardless of your opinion on the Epstein files.

What do you think Kushner’s role is? As far as the Epstein stuff goes, I give no sympathy to Trump over that. He and his admin have done a piss pour job of handling that for sure. Maybe don’t go and appoint two guys like Bongino and Patel who were yapping about releasing the files for how many years. The Biden admin chose not to do anything with it at all but at least they didn’t make a big deal out of it and make promises then walk it all back.
