I don't mind going shopping with my girl. I just can't sit around and watch one of the several versions of  "rich white women who yell at each other" shows that she loves so much.

After 30+years of marriage, the what triggers me thing has pretty much worked itself out.  From the would you like to go to the store to, I'm going do you need anything?  It also goes with friends, family or any other type of gathering.  She already pretty much knows what my answer will be when asked, as I do her.  Doesn't stop us from asking, just courtesy.

Fortunately for us, we enjoy the same activities as well as the same ideas on traveling, budgeting, spending and even alone time.  But don't get me wrong, after all these years together, there are still some things that can be categorized as Man Hell.

Driving for starters.  Me; From listening to the motor crank over, to any irregularities, to the harmonious synchronization of every movement, from the transfer case to braking.  Her; adjust mirror for continuous hair monitoring, mash right pedal...GO! Mash left...STOP!  Tailgate until forward car is run off the road for fear of being rammed.  TV time; it never fails, focused on a particular show I'm watching which translate to her as a good time to start a discussion.  And the killer, show breaks for a commercial, so does she from talking.....ARGH!!!

Way back in 2001 we were in California taking the family to Disneyland.

Just by "coincidence" it was also the Glen Helen national that Sunday, which also happened to be Mother's Day....

Somehow I talked my wife into taking our then 4 year old daughter, 1 year old daughter, and my wife was 3 months pregnant with our youngest daughter. On Mother's Day, she got to go push a stroller around Glen Helen. She still gives me shit for that even now 24 years later...(:

Me and mine are VERY INCOMPATIBLE when it comes to watching tv and movies, polar opposite interests. Here's where I have the hardest time - we'll FINALLY compromise on a movie or tv show, and she'll talk straight thru that som' bitch. Start to finish. And then constantly ask "What just happened, what did they just do, what did that guy say? I missed it".

Why is it that the stuff that women crave is the exact stuff that is so irritating. How many of us want to just go running around just to go running around - Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, Cloth World, Target (not to get anything in particular, but to look around), eat at Olive Garden. Then, it’s like “Hey, it’s 5pm, let’s get out and drive around (in the 5’clock freakin traffic).”

Okay, rant over 😳

I like the Olive Garden part though. The bread sticks are killer, and soup becomes a meal when you have the breadsticks with it!💯

I’m convinced Olive Garden puts something in their food that makes women enjoy it

I got a CDL and started driving transit buses 2-1/2 years ago. So now when my wife says anything about my driving , I tell her to “”Relax…. I’m a professional Operator…” it works very well. 😆
