WP bladder forks vs. Kyb conv

I'm a biased source since I manufacture a KYB conversion kit, but here's my opinion:

I prefer the KYB over other forks because it has so much tuning range and every tuner knows how to work with them.
Also I tend to think they offer both comfort and hold-up at the same time while other forks tend to make you trade one for the other.

If you are looking to save money and you are very happy with the bladder forks it would make sense to stick with them if they're in decent condition.

A basic setting on a dual spring / dual cartridge fork is as good as the shims and oil...   
A bad tune can make a great fork feel terrible and a great tune can make a bad fork pretty good.
In my experience selling conversion kits the feedback is that a close to stock YZ250F or KX250 setting is pretty great on the KTM chassis if sprung properly for your weight and speed.

I run the older chassis (2023 GasGas MC350F) and the main fork I race with is a 24mm cartridge from a 2012 Kawasaki with my own tuning.  
It does everything well for my riding style, skill and terrain.  I run a 45N/mm shock spring and a 0.49kg/mm fork spring rate.

The other set of forks I use for R&D have 2021 YZ250F internals (25mm cartridge).  Those work well with stock valving and they can be improved with a custom tune.

I believe the majority of the WP stuff uses a 23mm mid valve, but that's not necessarily a big deal.  Tuners I've talked to say that some WP piston designs aren't superior.   I am not a tuner at that level in the WP side of things although I've done some cone valve stuff and also swapped out cones for shims with pretty good results.

Again, it's easy for me to say I prefer KYB, but I'm a biased source.

Tried many valving set ups and after market carts.

All I can say is the best set up I had then is not as good as the stock KYB I have now on my Sherco.

It baffles me that KTM and WP continue to keep on keeping  on....

Haven't done the bladder, but I really like the feel of the KYB's on my 350 sx-f. feels more familiar both riding and settings wise for me. 

I would definitely be sticking with the Bladder forks. Seriously under-rated forks. Most people don't know about them or haven't tried them. In my opinion, the Bladder forks are a superior option to the KYB's. 

I like the Cone Valve forks for the KTM.  They work pretty well and i'm on my second bike with my original set.
