Watching an hour + delayed on Peacock

you might be able to click the slider to the left and start it ealier.  but there have been times where I could only go back so far.  just a thought. 

That's correct. My major complaint with Peacock. That and you can't ff through commercials. However it's live on USA tonight so you can dvr it if you have that channel.

Question... I purchased the pro-mo they had in Nov for 19.99 a year. I logged in, it's saying I can't watch supercross unless I upgrade to premium.

Same for anyone else out there?

The race is also on USA network, which is a pecock/NBC channel. If you have the ability to DVR that channel and have that channel you could also do that. That is what I am doing. The pause and rewind feature does not always work for me on the Pecock app. Through my ROKU .

Depends on the platform you’re using to watch Peacock. Some allow live rewind others don’t. Keep in mind with that big of a rewind delay, your stream will abruptly end once they end the official live feed. 

This has always worked for me but did limit how far back I could get. I don't remember if it was an hour or two but you can't come in right near the end of the live show and get back to the beginning. Bonus doing this "live" has been that when you do this you can click thru commercials or segments you don't care about. Once it's on- demand you have to have the higher tier to skip. 

Because of this, if I miss the start, I just wait until the next day to watch it. I know patience, and the will power to just stay off social media until you've watched it is just too much of an ask for some people though.

I've already text my moto friends this morning asking who's watching live, just so I'm not the one to accidently spoil it for them. 

Yup! If you start 30-40 minutes behind, you can catch up to the live feed for the main events by skipping all the fluff in between racing. 

The re-run is usually available about 30-45 minute after the live feed ends.  And yes, when it ends you can't back it up, it's over till the replay gets posted up.

In my situation Ive noticed it this way. If I watch it on my iphone, its the normal app and I can rewind and do whatever. If I cast it from my phone to the tv with a chromecast, even tho its just putting whats on my phone onto the tv, I lose the ability to rewind.  Makes no god damn sense and the first time it happened I was so mad I almost blew a gasket, because in my family every single race we wait 1 hour after gate drop to start so we can skip commercials. We always end up caught up to live right around the last main event and it ends at the normal time. 

The way we always normally watch it is off of the peacock app on appletv. It works perfectly normal and you can fast forward, rewind, everything. Idk what it is about casting from your phone but in 2024 and not 2025 that is just friggin inexcusable for a service we pay for. Get that shit fukn fixed peacock, its a disgrace. I bought my own apple tv just so I dont have to steal the other one when the family is gone, cuz I wont deal with it only playing live on chromecast. FOH with that. 

It only lets you rewind so far (at least an hour I think) and when the broadcast ends you had better be caught up because it boots you out then no matter how close you are to the end. 

I go the same deal in November, everything is working just fine. You may need to reboot, or try it on another device.
