If anyone bet a dollar Schock would be less than 5 points out of the championship points lead after 3 rounds, they'd be a millionaire today.

Absolutely crushing it, really cool to see. Especially considering him getting dropped by Phoenix last minute.

Kind of interesting how Club has big name guys with top end speed (Marchbanks, Martin, even Reynolds could be considered a big name) yet it seems Coty and Phil are the ones you can count on each week to put in solid laps and get a respectable finish.

What's crazier is that he is 4 points from leading the championship and maybe has 30 seconds of air time after 3 rounds. I'm not sure they showed him once last night, they barely even say his name during the broadcast other than when they read the results . ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Hope he can stay healthy, stay high up the points table and then have another good outdoor showing.

Guy was on fire before the the injury and seems he's back on it now.

They got him some air time in his heat race when he was hitting the quad when none of the other riders were in his heat.  Outside of that, they weren't following him much as noted.  Dude is riding really well.

Every summer there's a privateer who kills it on a 450. Masterpool last year. One year it was Rodbell, another it was John Short. Coty was that guy one summer. When sx rolls around though it's just a different animal. But Coty is showing himself to be more than just a mx guy

He's SX only for the moment.

Told yโ€™all this would turn out good. He got a step up in equipment with the same structure where he is happy. Wait for the outdoors as his fire continues to grow.

That's crazy.  The economics of this sport are challenging.

Coty is friends with my best friend's son, and often goes riding with the two of them. He was telling my friend last year that he felt he was almost there... just one tiny step away from being a real contender. It seems he was right in his self-assessment. I don't expect him to win a race, but he just might "diesel" his way to a championship podium. A title? Well, people have won regional SX titles without a win before... it's not impossible.

Ah that's a shame given how well he rode outdoors before, thanks for the info ๐Ÿ‘

I appreciate it can be tough for it to make sense financially... or he may just want to concentrate on supercross I guess?

Has he mentioned if he'd be open to it if there was a seat or support or is he just not about it at all time/travel/commitment wise?

So losing Lopes was a blessing in Disguise do we think Lopes would be better in points now had he been healthy?

He raced with a fractured collarbone in Daytona as well, which happened in qualifying. He's tough, period.

More like Club had to find extra parts, bikes, mechanic money etc.  they will make it work for outdoors. Both parties are happy

My guess is that he is definitely in for the outdoors if he has a ride. Dude wants to compete.
