Pala, Cahuilla or GH are good to check out on a Saturday! I’d watch a few videos of each & decide which one you want to ride.

If you are a KTM guy, Kurt Nicholl’s got you covered. If not there are several others that may have the bike you typically ride. I also agree with the tracks mentioned above. Keep us posted and maybe some from here can meet you wherever you end up.
My personal recommendation is Luc Santos from https://factorymxvacations.com
He does some bike testing with us here on Vital and his bikes are immaculate, plus usually quite hopped up. A bunch of his rental bikes have kit forks, exhausts, aftermarket clamps, etc. He's got major OCD in the best way.
He has mostly Austrian bikes. 250, 350, 450, plus a 150 and 300 two stroke. He also has a super trick YZ450F in his fleet now.

Glen Helen is iconic but honestly i like jumps. I've watched a million videos of all these tracks honestly so I'm more looking for locals thoughts if they only had 1 day to ride which it would be. Who preps the best and which track is gonna be the best overall experience.
Fox Raceway is the most consistent this time of year and has two good tracks.
So happy I came across this thread, Will seriously be doing this myself.
Not sure how your home tracks are, but SoCal is trash for riding. Idk how so many riders still live out there. It is really cool to be out there and be at Glen Helen or something like that and see someone shredding on the same track uncle Jim just got his hip replacement for his 70th b day at the same time.
Hey man! My name Is Luc Santos, I own Factory Mx Vacations. https://factorymxvacations.com
I would love to have you out and ride one of our bikes. Anything from a KTM 125 to a KTM 450, Yamaha 250 & 450 etc. Some of the bikes even have Akit on them!
Let me know if there is anyway I can help!
Cheers,
Luc
Hah the Cali bro down votes. So cal is shit for Moto. Just accept it. Who’s winning. Where do they train?
For a dude with a fox and monster energy tattoo(like the guys who downvoted my post). So cal is the bees knees. For mortals who love Moto and track prep etc… idk how they have a national at pala.
I currently live in the Memphis tn area which has 1 track within 2 hour that's open with any consistency. Otherwise a regular ride day is a 3 hour drive each way. Socal can be trash and it's still better than what I have on any given weekend.
California had the most titles at Loretta's this year, like usual
We not talking Pro’s bro, so who gives a shit where “they” train. Use that thing between your ears and understand the question at hand. Dude is making a trip to Ca. and looks like he’s going to squeeze a ride day in and wanted to know who to rent from and where to ride. . That is all.
I’ll leave this here. There are more than 6 full time rental companies out here for a reason. Use your noodle
Also, I was at Pala today and there were atleast 150 bikes on a Friday. Including Macadoo, Adam’s, the Gordon brothers, Vincent Wey on the 250 and Bogle on the Stark Where did you ride and who did you see?
I’ll take having the availability of being able to ride 7 days/365 on “shit” tracks, they are not, than riding once or twice a month on “good?” tracks in “seasonal” areas. Name your place bro, where do frequent non “shitty” tracks and how often.
Please stay away from our “shitty” tracks.
+1 for Luc and FactoryMXVacations. Have known him for a little while. Great dude, easy to be around, and his bikes are gorgeous.
I second this. Fox has jumps & always solid prep.
If you like jumps and want a good track that would probably be Cahuilla. Spite the talk on some other thread the jumps / track is really good.
If you just like jumps with sub par dirt / prep that would be Elsinore.
If you like better, deeper prep with some jumps that would be Pala.
If you want good dirt, prep, fair style track that would be Perris.
If you want a freeway with jumps that would be LACR.
If you want a motocross track with less jumps that would be Glen Helen as you’ve said
Then there also some outliers like Sun Fair, Cal City, Honolulu Hills, KCRP and some others depending on when and how.
