Laegenfelder (sp?) seemed a happy chappy about the rain.

Seems his happiness was well founded, so far.

Oh BS, Jucko!. I've seen several passes so far.

It's wet, many blokes can't see eff all due to that, but I see a variety of lines being taken, and passes being made.

Leave the 'anti' to the "anti every bloody thing about the GP" noodles we have here. I see good, fast racing in trying conditions.

Looks like Geerts' bike stopped steaming by the end, wonder how close it was to not finishing

Watching the mechanics holding up the rear end as the riders wheel the bikes to their gates is a chuckle.

Though, I daresay the rear end of those bike is a Lot lighter than my old Tank.......

But seeing Fernandez's tiny little female mechanic doing the same was impressive. On Ya, young lady!

Well, Febvre had a good go trying to get past Prado, but 12 laps of getting filled in until a bobble on the last lap, set him back, and put paid to his hopes.

Tiga's jammed chain reminded me of AC's dramas at the Swedish GP yonks ago. I just want him, and Herlings, to Not get hurt again this season. Just get through it fellas.

Though Herlings pass on Verlanderran (I can't spell GP riders names for S**t) was pretty bloody 'willing'.

I thought the track raced really well considering the amount of rain,

Anybody know what happened to #243 when he stalled in the turn?

No stall, just a stone in the chain

Talk about terrible luck! I thought Tiga was going to finish top 5 or better before this incident put him way back.

yea, he's hoping that all the bad luck happens this year, so that 2024 can go a lot smoother!

Osterhagen crashed on a landing right in front of him and Geerts couldn't avoid his bike. Looks like he landed hard on the same shoulder he injured in France

Could've been shredded from friction but it looked like there was a hole burned into the side of his jersey and left a nasty burn mark. So devastating, been wanting Geerts to get one for ages. Already almost completely closed up a massive points gap and then gets caught in someone else's mistake. Just shit luck

That sucks for Geerts. Hope he will be ok.

What are the track conditions like today? Still raining?

Seems unlikely they'd be reporting it before the broadcast but a broken collarbone does seem likely.

So bummed for Geerts. Just saw the above post that he may have a broken collar bone. Edit - (Sounds like speculation)

If his the plate in his wrist came loose then it's without doubt season over. This sport can be brutal. Hate to see the guys getting hurt all the time.

Seems to be the case also rumours that the plate in his wrist came lose again.
if that’s true, his season is over.

What's up with Benoit Paturel? He has been having a terrible sesso so far and appears well off the pace of the top 10. Surely he is better than that. Is he riding injured?
