Report are coming in that Swoll tore his Achilles (according to Matthes on X)

Bummer for him, hopefully no more before A1.

Achilles is always bad. He’s out for the whole year if it is indeed a torn Achilles.

Mikkel Haarup just took his shirt off.  How long to get ready for East Coast.

First thing I thought!
I know nothing about this injury but don't assume he'll be on the line outdoors with a torn achilles. Bummer for Jalek

Out for a whole year, minimum for achilles.

Meh, he's young and drugs are good these days. He should be able to be walking in a boot in two weeks(post surgery) and regular shoe in 4. He'll be back on the bike in 2-3 months I bet.

Speaking from experience, me a non-pro athlete followed that timeline post full tear surgery so it's very doable. I'd say he'll be back for MX pending no complications

This is a bummer for Swoll.  Don't think he will be back at the start of outdoors.  Thats only 5 months away.  Tomac did it in about 8 months and he did not seem 100% for 3-4 months after that.  But everyone is different.  Hope he can come back soon and strong!!

I’m guessing he’d get the speed bridge repair but even still outdoors is a stretch.  Eli tore his in April of 2023 and was back on a turn track I believe in October a few weeks after that he was on an SX track.

Call it 6 months to just get on a turn track. That puts us in June. Maybe if everything went perfect he could race the last round or two of outdoors. But after Eli acknowledge that after going through the injury he was no where close to his top form last season compared to this year probably best to just rehab the whole time.

Fair, just sharing my N=1 experience. Swoll is also young and hungry so I'd expect him to be aggressive on things.

Or he could be smart and play it safe with the rehab process and timeline.

From riding on the balls of feet on the pegs. Versus us slackers who ride on our arches or heals- Never gonna tear an achilles...😆

I am sure it wasn't, its a much smarter decision to have him run the east coast where he has a better chance.

Or how about more time to recover and be ready!!!!!! I mean WTF dude. Having him be fully healthy and ready is more important than who he lines up with.

Then why did you say Austin wanted no part of them?

So Forkner to East….where the F is RJ going? Darkside said he’s on the press conference list for Friday, Husky said that he’s ready for 1st gate drop (technically A1), yet as far as I know we have no official word other than probably East…

Crazy to me that people still count him out.

The guy was beating the field when his contact fell out, which very likely caused his crash…

Every year he comes back from major injury and shuts most people up, year after year. Championship idk,  but if he’s in it till the end, he’ll be in the hunt.

He will absolutely put the Triumph on the top step at least once this year. Stamp it.
