I wouldn't name the shop unless you personally see the receipt for work stating a revalve was done and paid for.   Might be the bike owner who is FOS.

Not too many shops take internals only for a revalve. I would never trust the customer to properly perform reassembly, unless something is funky.

Not what I am trying to say.   I am saying that when the bike owner said "yeah I got the forks revalved by XYZ shop..." he may have been totally FOS...  May have never even spoken to that shop.  Not worth the headache in any case to try to name the shop.

See the ends of the shafts have OEM staking, this flares out the shaft preventing the nut from coming off.

If it had been revalved before these would be ground down almost flush, the staking is almost, if not all removed.
