Let's give credit where credit is due.
Yeah I know, different track but Deegan ran his 2:10's on the last two laps before the second 450 moto:
Tbh, I was wondering if he cut the track (wasn’t watching on Peacock and was only able to see mobile timing).
That's 2015 Eli Tomac riding (though Eli did it on a 450). I knew Deegan was good, but just how good he's been in the outdoors this season has surprised me.
This is where the definition of 'sending it' comes from....
This is common at tracks that rut up. Happens a lot at Unadilla when the track slows down the lap times are close.
He was still ripping.
The Shop
Yeah, hard to deny the kid. Moto doesn’t care who your daddy was or how much money you have. You don’t make it to where he is without being a fucking savage.
Deegan just needs to plan on 250 sx and 450 outdoors next year. Doing another season outdoors on 250 is totally pointless for him.
This has been a long time coming, he will be undeniable in the end.
Been saying it since he was on small bikes, kid has no quit, he has psychopath levels of the will not to lose.
It's all because he's a spoiled rich kid and his dad gave him everything, he won't win any championships. :/
Sarcasm for those who didn't get it. But it should shut up the Deegan haters for a minute or two.
He might want to maximize the 250 titles before Jett starts taxing that ass.
It won't...
His fastest lap in each moto I believe was the last lap. Thats gnarly.
Fading is not allowed in The Dangerzone apparently.
Might want to wait until he wins a title before anointing him but that’s not how bedbugs roll…
If I was a Jett fan I would hope he never rides a 450, Jetts in the cross hairs of the Dangerzone.
I sit back on Saturday's and watch this kid rip the snot out of two 30 minute motos.
Strong as hell right up to the finish line.
Nobody does that without working their ass off.
As a fan of the on track racing, I/we can't ask for anything more.
And he will be a champion.
More than once.
But, I don't have any desire to hear from him after he gets off the bike.
I haven’t seen a single Deegan ‘hater’ on this board question his ability on a motorcycle, it’s the attitude we could do without.
At least he backs up his attitude with results.
I'll take that.
Lol, I'm not sure about that, there has been a lot of doubt since amatuers on here lol...
And most people overlook him to challenge Jett in the future, saying things like Cooper and Kitchen will over Deegan.
Just trying to rile people up lol. Before outdoors started, I did feel with way. Deegz has been so impressive though. I don't know that he'll ever reach Jett's level in sx but we could be be in store for some epic mx battles. Haiden just has so much desire to win. It's so fun to watch
Pit Row
I'm doing the same. If you're a mx fan then that makes you a Jett fan automatically.
I was never a Stew fan, I knew that if he didn't crash, he probably was going to win.
He made Lance Armstrong push at the end.
Everything is politicized....no different here
He does not seems tierd when i comes of the track if you compare him to the others and he rides so much harder. who is his trainer other than Swanepoel ? or does he have anyone other ?
His legacy is gonna lie on if he can beat Jett. Needs to get there asap
Are there any results sheets that shows the riders entire time from start line of race to finish? I know DV was comparing them a few months ago but I can't find them.
Do you think that style of riding will play well on 450’s? Thats my concern.
Deegan is a young beast, but to think he's got anything for the Lawrence Boys and Sexton is laughable. He might beat Anderson,...
Yup he’s doing tomac shit out there! It’s unbelievable to watch. He’s legit full fuckin send the whole time out there I love it
When will ppl learn that a 450 doesnt equal better laptimes, many times the opposite
No idea, I think it's not ideal but the boys has the will to win no doubt about that.
I don't think his current style will work at least not in the same intensity. He's got the fitness for sure, but riding a 450 like that for 30 plus 2 is insane. The reason why Jett is so good is that his technique and race craft makes it appear like he's not even riding. Including his ability to adapt to a changing track and find lines no one else can. It is fun watching Deegan hold it wide on the 250.
