You know, I listen to baseball broadcasts and I actually listen to the announcers and their analysis. 
 

for moto, I find myself just watching the racing as if I am there, not really paying much attention to the announcers.

I know some people do but I just get super caught up in the action and maybe my brain is too slow to do both

Beyond me why folks get so bent over whatever it is there getting uptight about.  I honestly don't even give it a second thought.  As Ringo said, guess I'm more intent on watching the race and talking with whoever it is that I'm watching the race with.  Relax and enjoy it, you'll live longer

RDL was as bad, top spot changed so many times, and they missed half of them, especially Mookie, must have been half a lap before they went OMG Stewart or whatever. 

When there is two in the booth, one watches the screen, the other watches the timing.  

Until the race when the lead guy watches the lead, and the other guy watches in the background. 

Race announcing is not one of RC’s talents .
