Ha, That Was Awesome! Much too short. Thanks KB for putting it out there. Yes I'm from back in that day. Even had the Canned Heat Cookbook album!!
The dude at the end 😂
Soooo good to see those days. Great post!
I was a little boy in those days, but my dad took me for rides on his '74 DT175. I sat on his gas tank and held the handlebars. We didn't do anything quite as extreme as the cross country shown in the vid, but it was just as much fun to me!

Great stuff! Good post. 👍
That's my time. Being 15 and riding on tracks like that. It was so simple and so much fun. I really miss those times.

DUDE, thanks for those . Great pics!🔥💯 All the different bands in the top pic. Mx Yamaha, looks like and XL 250 in front and you’re on a BSA?Awesome…… Is that Widow Maker 400 Suzuki in the lower pictures?
Great form on that old TM(?) Looks like you were in a stadium?
That BSA I'm on in the first picture is my fathers. It's a 1958 BSA Goldstar 500. Racing a street bike from the 50s in 1972. Pretty crazy when I think about it now. The gy in the lead owned a Honda dealership. He road this Honda SL350 twin that was stripped down. It had a see through fiberglass tank. I thought it was so cool. The others pictures are all me on my 73 Suzuki TM250. I raced that bike a lot from 73 -76.
The old TMs got a lot of flack but I really loved mine. I always said that was as close as I ever got to riding SX. This is my favorite that gives me that look.
Sorry, the guy in the first photo leading is on a new Honda XL 350. He did have a SL350 twin that was pretty trick for that time. I just don't have a photo of it.
Great pics, thanks again for posting them up! 💯🔥
The flat landing you're about to hit made me shuuuuuder in pain!😬I remember the clunk of the suspension bottoming was just "one of those things", Good times!!
