It’s fascinating how politicians in the U.S. have achieved celebrity status. People ask for them to be at sporting events, buy merchandise with their names, and proudly wear it like a team jersey. I can’t picture this happening anywhere else—imagine the French strolling around in Macron caps or the British sporting Starmer hoodies. The contrast is almost comical.
