Let's not forget the judge would NOT allow a Democrat appointed head of the FEC to let the jury know this was NOT a campaign violation. Because he decided the judge and only the judge can educate the jury about the law. However this is not NY law that he is supposed to be a expert in. It's federal law that he has zero jurisdiction over. Maybe now they should also have him instruct the jury on Costa Rican law too. They might find some new violations there.
This was actually a big sticking point in federal patent law cases up until the 90s. Now patent cases are divided into 2 hearings. The first is in front of the judge only with experts so he can determine matters of law. Then comes the hearings in front of the jury for matters of fact.

I believe our system has gone down the same path that all large empires before us have. When the people are no longer being heard, frustrations are building, and the elites are doing as they please which is line pockets, and slowly shift how the country is “ran”.
I am watching the economy and the idiotic decisions being made, I am watching the borders and the reasons they are welcoming the masses of people in. I am watching the infrastructure issues continue to rise, I am watching our foreign policy create more escalation and wars, I am watching our government stretch the power of our dollar and thus our purchase power is weakening, the intelligence community act as domestic terrorists, our own government weaponizing the judicial system, our rights slowly getting minimized as the people, I see large corps in cahoots with gov have record gains, 200,000 small businesses close, and the largest transfer of power in history during the 2020 all due to Covid and that whole debacle, and I believe that people should hold themselves responsible and by that I mean who they vote into office and the reasons why they continue to allow them to walk all over us. Less government is needed
