Do you know what the Plum Book is? Apparently Trump's win in 2016 was so unexpected that there was no Plum Book prepared for him. Supposedly Chris Christie was in charge of that, or in charge of the transition. So if true that left Trump far behind any other incoming President as far as administration appointments.

Biden didn't inherit the mess that Trump 'left'. If a mess was left it was because of the establishment.

Biden couldn't have functioned in any capacity if Trump left a mess. He doesn't have the mental capacity.

I’m always surprised when people think a president can snap his fingers and create instant results. If you think the country was doing great under Trump, then you need to credit Barack Obama for giving him a stable place to start. If you think it’s a shit show during the Biden administration, you need to recognize the chaos he inherited. Whatever happens during one president’s term affects the next. It’s not good for any of us to constantly swing back and forth on policies and plans.

Whether Clinton or Trump won it would have been the exact same book. The last three were issued December 1, 2012, December 1, 2016, and December 1, 2020. The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and the House Committee on Government Reform take turns publishing it. Chris Christie is not involved.

Also, this is the same Trump who basically told Obama to fuck off when the transition was occurring, so if he didn't know all he needed to know that's on him.

Again, I am voting for the man.

If Trump failed, it would be the establishment's fault. If Biden failed, it would be his own fault.

Either Trump was ignorant of how things work and was blindsided by his own stupidity, or he got fucked over.

"Biden didn't inherit the mess that Trump 'left'. If a mess was left it was because of the establishment."

It wouldn't be because Trump left a pile of burning embers and refused to participate in the peaceful transition of power, no, it had to be the establishment.

Edited for grammar.

Also, I forgot the best one, if my guy wins the elections were clear and present, but if my guy loses the whole fucking thing was rigged. Same for the justice system.

Again, it's either always rigged or never rigged. If you think the mouth breathers that compromise the bulk of the Dem party could pull off a nationwide election steal, maybe they do need to be in power because the Republicans can barely get out of their own way and organize a unified front.

Hmm, so you're implying that there is a uni-party/cabal that does actually run things in our government, since the Plum Book would have been the same no matter who won the Presidential election.

Kinda weird that you say Biden inherited a mess, but knew about the Plum Book and yet didn't mention it.

Well I'm going to have to claim you're a bit off on this. Trump is the first "true outsider" to become president. He was way behind the learning curve when he came into office and very naive about people that actually wanted to do good. And no other president has been so ambushed by the deep state like Trump was and still is. You literally had Comey letting Hillary off the hook right before the election and then dig in to destroy Trump right after the election. Double standard? Can't deny it. But as far as snapping fingers and creating change? Look how Biden snapped his fingers undoing border policies and the change overnight. Look how Trump snapped his fingers and reduced regulation and businesses thrived "overnight". Trump's policy of "drill baby drill" kept energy prices low. The Saudis tried to keep the cost of a barrel low to stop oil production here. The technology was such that at under $45 we couldn't profit so we stopped. but that helped the country operate cheaper. That was not done by Obama. There's a lot of examples where the president can change the economy quickly. BTW, It's much more fun to correspond with civil folks.

My friend, they are ALL in the swamp. Trump, Biden, Obama, Killary, ALL OF THEM.

The joke they all get to laugh at is the bulk of society thinking their side is on their side. They aren't.

34 felony convictions
54 pending criminal charges
2 impeachments
2 popular vote losses
$88M owed to E Jean Carroll
$450M owed for civil fraud
$8T added to nat'l debt
2.9M net loss of jobs

Is this what Trump meant when he promised "numbers like we've never seen"?

The charges and settlement numbers you cite make the point about how ridiculous this all is and how love him or hate him, Trump gets treated differently than anyone else.  For example, Trump said this E Jean Carroll person lied about him, boom, slapped with the huge slander judgement.  Adam Schiff slandered Trump every day for 3 years by saying he was a Russian agent, and Schiff will likely be the next Senator from California.  See a difference there?

There was also a thing called COVID that happened in 2020, I have a crazy theory that the job and debt numbers might have been slightly impacted by that!

If Trump failed, it would be the establishment's fault. If Biden failed, it would be his own fault.

So the CIA didn't knowingly withhold information from Trump? Trump didn't have to mostly depend on private Intel services? Those embedded folks didn't do their damn best to keep his head on a swivel?

But you're right I suppose, once Biden got the mess all cleaned up we were able to get back involved in wars again, and bumble some military moves, and do a bang up job on wasting money on electric vehicle infrastructure, etc.

Bro, that is a very cynical view you have. And to be honest, no way to go thru life.

As in life you "have to play the cards you are dealt". Cool

I believe there are over 3,000 appointments that get made. I'm sure Biden could handle all of those, or Obama or Reagan. Of course not! So they had to depend on a transfer/transition team.

Of course, all of those folks on that team would have what's best for the country and the current leadership in mind, right?

It can be rigged, and yet the outcome still be valid and not a result of the rigging.

It is possible to have an election that was rigged and yet won fairly, if the one it was rigged in favor of lost. Both can be true.

The media focuses so much on Trump:

1) Because his nonsense is real. The stories MAGA people get mad about not seeing covered are not real.

2) He sells tickets. The other candidates are boring.

Take me out of that "each". Trump could have flew off into the sunset in his Trump jet Very rich and very famous.

The only reason he's being subjected to all this lawfare is he decided to run for president again. He didn't need this.

I just don't believe he's in the game for himself. He's now the US version of Alexei Navalny. He needs to start leaving notes everywhere that he is NOT suicidal.

Over 53million raised in 24hrs.

No doubt some, kbscilgtbqxyz member will reply with how someone on cable news is saying it's not significant.

But the money flowing into the campaign is money flowing into the campaign.
