You read it right.
big if true
But why?
There has never been much discussion about him here.
Perhaps what is needed is a spirited, articulate debate comparing him to, I Don't know, Donald J Trump.
Anybody care to join in?
No thanks, his tits are too small. Plus there’s the whole pedophile thing.
Sounds gay

This thread delivers.
Seriously, you've completely taken yourself out of any conversation here with your fisting comment.
You're a joke.
Dear sir, in the future, please add…
”Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”

I'm a bit confused by that story. Isn't lead bad?
I can see the need for steel shot because birds may pick them up to digest food, but bullets?
Sounds like just another tool to squelch freedom.
Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel.

Switching from lead to steel weights isn’t practical unless they’re stainless. Stainless means more expensive and, the lead I’m using for salmon fishing will be useless. Also, unless the weights are stainless, they’ll rust becoming consumable. A waste. I also would not be able to pour steel in my tackle making hobby. Further increasing the cost of spending time on the water. My lead molds and, melting pots would also be useless. I have thousands of dollars and, hundreds of hours invested in tackle making that would also have been for nothing. This is just the tip of the spear pushing through to further limit fishing and, hunting opportunities.
Hope you guys are ready for another 4 years of him. Because, like it or not, Trump is going to be the Republican nominee. He couldn’t beat him last time. Since then, there’s been a huge backlash over RvW and J6. He’d need to flip millions of 2020 Biden voters to Trump voters. What has he done to achieve that?
What has Biden done to gain my vote? His long list of fuck-ups in just these few years are going to be generational. Just watch.
You should be more worried about what has Biden done to reclaim votes than what has Trump done to gain votes. If your betting solely on that (D) next to his name and the overblown J6 bullshit then you got another thing coming. People (I hope) have had a rude awaking by voting because of a letter next to their name and mean tweets. I like to think people vote with their wallets and their freedom. So far both of those have been lightened to every American.
You underestimate how much people hate Trump. They showed that in 2020. As I said, even more do now after J6 and RvW.
You win elections, generally, a few different ways. Here are 3 that pop into mind.
1. You win over the moderates/independents/swing voters.
2. You inspire enough people, even those who lean your political direction, to actually take time out of their day to go cast their vote for you.
3. You have an opponent so unpopular to so many people that they will turn out to vote against them, regardless of what they feel about you.
Backtracking a bit in this post, we look at J6. Only the far right and the MAGA crowd was not disgusted by what happened that day, and it was in large part due to everything Trump said and did post election loss and until he left office.
The hardline 6 week stance against abortion is, again, extremely unpopular to anyone except the far right. KENTUCKY, arguably our reddest state, voted pro choice on their ballot measure in November. Wisconsin has a liberal Supreme Court majority for the first time in … I’m not sure how long, due to the abortion issue.
Trump’s endorsed candidates have flopped. Voters are done with him. So, again, I ask, what has he done post election loss to flip millions of voters who voted for Biden to now vote for him? Even in the midst of a tough economy, notoriously a difficult election for the party in power, Democrats had a strong showing in the midterms.
As I said in my original post, Biden will defeat Trump again, and I doubt it’ll even be close this time. Republicans would be wise to reform their party and move away from Trump. It will cost them short term, but pay off in big ways long term.
Can they rig another election? Of course they can. Would the American public stomach another Trump lead, disappearing some time in the middle of the night? Probably not.
Pit Row
Oh and I forgot to say, the far right on this site will down vote away like crazy, but never actually give an answer to anything. Because, deep down, they know it’s true. That Biden will be POTUS until January 20, 2029, unless Harris takes over at some point during his second term.
Who doesn't like jokes?
Let me make it up to you, I'll get you a drink
Trump on CNN? After all the trash talking from both sides? Man, he must be fed up with Rupert’s gang!
Was pissed about reading the Title 42 and all the other BS this administration as dropped the ball on.
I hear nothing but "I voted for Biden because I didn't want Trump in there"
No matter how much damage Biden does to America they will stick to their guns that Trump was bad for America.
Discounting how well Trump's administration did for everyone Here and abroad. They read his Tweets and it hurt their feelings.
"Oh how I hate TRUMP!"...Reporter~ "Why?" "cause, Ummm. Get back with me after I ask social outlets".
Sadly, you're spot on.

Republicans are digging their own graves alienating anyone who isn't hardcore right with all the "anti-woke" legislation at every level of government. To win elections you're suppose to try and appeal to the masses and be more inclusive, not shit on everyone who doesn't believe exactly what you do.
Like it or not recently the majority of Americans vote Democrat. Republicans now win the presidency thanks to the electoral college. The last Republican candidate to win the popular vote was George W and he only did it in his 2004 re-election campaign. Before that you have to go back to movie star power of Regan. Despite the echo chamber here Trump and this new brand of Republican politics are less popular than ever nationally especially among young voters. So if Trump is still your answer be prepared for another 4 years with the corpse of Joe at the helm come '24.
I'll pass.
You've let everyone know where your hands have been. You'll have to spread your paratonitis elsewhere, typhoid mary.
Title 42 was an emergency COVID measure, so yeah it was gonna expire.
What major damage has Biden done to our country? I’d love to read some articles on specifics.
What was it that Trump was so amazing at that you really loved? That made your life better and everyone else’s in the nation much better?
People dislike Trump because he’s the most disrespectful person to be in the White House in our time. He makes fun of veterans, he’s lied multiple times (said he’d release his tax returns in 2016, and we didn’t see them till the court mandated it, then we realized he paid 0 taxes multiple years, for instance), and, the obvious, is how he has acted post presidential loss (the most unAmerican thing any sitting POTUS has ever done).
I’ll be waiting for your answers (which you never ever give me by the way, but I’ll keep trying!)
An economy that’s in the toilet, banks are collapsing, we’re on the verge of WWIII. You’re either blindly loving Biden through partisanship, or you just can’t see the forest due to the trees.
Trump is a rude, egotistical maniac, who seemed to hurt the insecure and weak’s feelings. Economically, this country was in a better position. Our trade position in the World was better.
It’s called “going down with the ship”. Millions of Americans (including myself) were looking for alternatives in 2016, and Trump checked a lot of boxes. And with fingers crossed I hoped he would cool down on the negative rhetoric once in office. Unfortunately the pressure of being POTUS only served to intensify his personality, leading to such pushback that Trump failed to secure a second incumbent party term, something that happened only once (Carter) in the previous 25+ elections.
And yet millions still cling to the idea of what Trump could have been, versus what he is. I was almost fully on board with his domestic policies, and supported his lack of military expansion globally (his coziness with dictatorships wasn’t my cup of tea). But the dude simply could not maintain executive focus, and stumbled once things started heading south. It’s in times of crisis that a person proves his mettle, and unfortunately Donald folded under pressure.
While I could not support Biden’s campaign, pulling the lever again for Trump was a non-starter. Because character matters. It goes far beyond “mean tweets” and into his core being. A re-elected Trump will quickly abandon Republican policies and use his 4 years as a revenge campaign. With the voters no longer an asset (he cannot be re-elected), Trump will turn his back on those who thought he was in their corner. It’s been his operating style his entire life.
Very well put.
