Yesterday I picked up a 2012 KTM350SXF. I know everyone says to get a 13+ but I couldn't pass it up. Thing has like 20 original hrs on it. No boot rubs on the cases or rubs on the graphics. Guy road it around with his kids mostly. It still has the original tires on it and they are about 65%. For 3200 with a tank full of race gas I had to see it. Now I have been on 2 strokes for a few years but for as bad as everyone says these things are I love the feel of it already just ripping around the pasture for a bit. Plenty of power for my +30B campaign in a year and a half.
My plans for this bike are :
Update to 13 plastics/graphics
exhaust system
lighter battery
Just some basic stuff for fun.

Nice bike! Looks clean, I had a FMF 4.1, Shorai Battery, Taller bars/mounts and an Orange rear fender. Check the top and bottom shock mounts constantly! My lower was always loose even when you loc-tite them. Good luck

Have factory connection revalve the forks and spring for your weight....can't tell you how great my forks are (13 350sxf)

I rode a 17 and liked it. I'm in the XXL category but in a way the bike felt easier to ride than a 450.I felt like I could hammer the throttle in the turns and not get out of control yet it still got up and hauled ass from the mid to top. It was almost like traction control or something. I might have gone that way had I tried a 350 first instead of the FC450.

Yosh slip on and a remap to the 2012 mapping make a huge difference in power. Call a KTM dealer with the vin and make sure the transmission bearing warranty was performed (may not have been affected). The forks are actually very good, and a ride engineering lowering link is a great addition. I bought mine new in 2011 and it has been a fantastic bike. If you have any questions let me know, I know the ins and outs as I have done most everything on those bikes lol.

Mate of mine had a 2011 350 and I thought it handled one hell of a lot better than the 13 250 sxf that I got.

Great bike you'll be really happy with it, only trouble my mate ever had with his was the battery for the electric start.

I did get to sneak in about 8 laps on her while my wife rode her horse around. I freaking love this thing already bone stock. I cant wait to get a couple different plug n play maps to mess with and a slip on. Surprisingly enough I don't mind the KTM bend on the bar and I am a hardcore OE KAW/HON/RC bend guy to. The stock suspension felt fine I had everything reset to 12 clicks and the sag @ 105. I need a full day of riding so I can mess with it and gets it better but like I said I only got about 8 laps in before it was time to go. Thanks for the comments guys.
