Yamalube, SuperM Injector from Maxima. Those are the two I've used

Yamalube is what we used on our 17, seemed to always smoke more than others.

Just picked up a new 18 today, debating switching oil.

2-S. Seeing a bit of smoke assures you it is oiling.

Amsoil Dominator. Same as my big bikes. Never had a problem caused by oil.

What are y’all using for air filters also? Think I used a pro-x last time and it didn’t even fit right. Going to try twin air I guess

What’s up with the washer in the exhaust? Why do they even put that there? Even on pavement with it the bike goes no where, guessing a liability/ lawsuit deal?

The exhaust washer reduces the power of the engine. It can be removed.
On the ones I had I drilled the washers out bigger over time to give added power as the little one was learning to ride better. Then finally just pulled them out.

PW's carbon up the exhaust port so bad, it's like a gradual built in restrictor.

I yanked that restrictor out of my kid's PW on day one. Just set the throttle limiter all the way in to mitigate the speed instead.
Yamalube 2S all day long. It's cheap and darn good oil for what it's running in. If you must use a different oil, make sure to use an injector oil - the product has thinners to make sure it gets through the injector.
