Gosh, what a shock - and what a shame. This is a historic political season, the kind of thing a guy like Tim Russert lives for. His poor family, I'll bet they're just overwhelmed.

That sucks, I always repected him for conducting tough interviews with people from both sides of the isle. Terrible loss for sure.

He did some all-nighters during the primaries and his make-up may have needed touching up.

When he played a clip from his show from 2000 a couple weeks ago you could really see how much weight he had gained.

Russert was a tough, fair interviewer. He'll be hard to replace.

Very sad indeed. Listening to his colleagues praise him as a professional and father speaks volumes about the man.

A brilliant man, devoted son, father and husband.
Did more to bring out the truth of current political news and issues us ordinary folks wanted to know about.
True humanitarian to those that were less fortunate.
Hard to see anyone replacing the shoes he wore.
RIP Mr. Tim J. Russert.

Bump for Tim Russert.

His advice to his son going away to college:

Study hard
Laugh often
Keep your honor
