and does anyone know the deal with the new hulk movie? is it a sequel?
The storyline is current and has a "realistic" feel rather than the cheesy stuff they've done with most of the superhero flicks.
I didn't even see the other Hulk film because it looked too goofy - having watched the Hulk tv series, the other movie looked like they just went a bit overboard with the Hulk. I'd have to go see the new one just because Ed Norton is in it.This one doesn't appear to be a sequel, just starting fresh like the other movie didn't happen.
Looks like they are setting up a future Avengers flick.

i really liked the first one. it was very dark. i hate it when they change actors.
xmen - well done. good casting. stayed true to the comic. stayed true to the comic's subplot (race relations)
x2 - great sequel
x3 - not as good as the other two, but set up the phoenix saga quite well
batman - 1 & 2 were the best imo. cant stand any of the rest.
spiderman - cheesy love story, but thats what the comic was. so imo they did a great job in the adaptation. the third one was horrible tho.
hulk - like i said, i liked it.
hulk 2 - like i said, hate it when they change actors, it looks like the whole cast is different
punisher - true to the comic. liked it, another dark movie, but so was the comic.
punisher 2 - coming soon
fantastic four - coulda been a lot better. casting was good but the writing was pretty lame. i thought both movies had poor endings thus the reason i have mixed opinions of this series.
howard the duck - cult classic
iron man - havent seen it yet.

wolverine - coming soon
daredevil - nobody read this comic and nobody watched this movie for good reason.
elektra - i thought it couldnt get any worse until...
catwoman - no comments necessary.
superman - didnt see it. too big a fan of the original.
ghost rider - another bad apple.
and yeah, they are setting up a avengers movie, with all the same actors. norton, the guy who plays thor, and downy jr have signed on.
'Iron Man' was the first venture from the new Marvel Studios, though the film is distributed by Paramount. Many thought the first Hulk film strayed too far from the comic book story, so Marvel Studios got the rights back and made this new Hulk film. The new film also includes the "origin story" of the character, so they more or less pretend the first film didn't happen.
Looks like 'Iron Man' is a smash. They originally aimed for a $45-50 mil opening, then adjusted their expectations to around $60 mil after good feedback in screenings. It ended up pulling in just over $100 mil this weekend domestically and nearly $100 mil overseas as well. Looks like Marvel Studios is getting the whole franchise going with a whole string of new movies.

'Batman Begins' was easily the best of all the films listed.
I'm going to Iron Man tonight and have high hopes.
Is the Avengers going to be with original line-up or one of the many incarnations?
